is it just me or gym culture is dying i mean like its not trend anymore or meme gyms are empty even on social media i remember people posting gyms and healthy foods like crazy
>>77544424>social mediawhat a loserdo you even do sports with your family? go for a run/lift with your wife? coach your kids or play sports with them?
>>77544424I don't think gym culture is dying, but using the gym as a means to lose weight is probably being replaced by the ozempic-likes.
>>77544424most guys by now realize going from a 3/10 to a 6/10 doesnt matter if hypergamy is so out of control you dont stand a chance if you arent atleast 8.5/10 so why bother
>>77544438>>77544432>>77544428>>77544424Why do dyels care about if gym is trendy or not
>>77544424I WISH the gyms were empty save fir me and a few bros, unfortunately it's not the case.
I'm starting to see a lot of women at the weights room so yea it's over
>>77544432>but using the gym as a means to lose weight is probably being replaced by the ozempic-likesSo this is why all of my gyms are filled with foreigners? Because all the white people can afford ozempic?
>>77544448They just want to /fit/ in.
>>77544424Cool
>>77544424I hope it's not. It's nice to see men that have muscles, instead of weak men that can't defend anyone and are apathetic bystanders when good people are being attacked.I've seen lots of movies from decades ago, and a lot of those men are skinny, and I wonder how can they allow themselves to be such weak men."If you expect to borrow my strength, then I expect to borrow yours".ALL men must be physically fit and able to fight off an infinite amount of enemies.Allowing yourself to be destroyed by bad health is the same as suicide, and then you're your own murderer.
>>77546169If all men should be physically fit, how could one man fight off an infinite amount of physically fit men?
>>77544424*hits meth pipe*I think we are coming to the end of a lot of living for optimization. People are realizing that the most perfect fitness routine will not get them to a new Jerusalem. And I hope the people will return to a variety of physical activities, done for pleasure, and without obsessing over metrics and progress. Essentially, people have realized they have organized their personal lives like they have to impress a middle manager, and have realized they don't have too.
>>77544424I would say its the opposite. Lifting weights is so popular that its just completely normie now. Its the same thing as how there used to be gamer culture, but now everyone plays video games so theres no distinct identity to video games anymore.
Vidya is high art and gyms are sociable health clubs now. I am the main man in my gym ive had sex with at least 13 women some the hottest you will ever see. Anyways, people dont want gym muscles they want money muscles. Thats outside for most men
>>77544424I haven't noticed because I've always done oly.If anything the league here is bigger than ever because many crossfit guys started getting into oly
I think its at its peak desu. I remember when the gym was weirdly full of starting strength spergs. Now everyone lifts. The grocery stores are full of protein foods with insane macros and someones buying it
>>77546208GOOD TAKE
Gyms are kind of expensive now in the US unless you have a very large chain gym (which you can't half train in). Its kind of a scam in that way. You have to get good enough at using the equipment that you outgrow the chain gym to look like how you want to like. It would be like needing to be able to run a 23 minute 5k to look hot and jacked, but the gym you go to does not actually allow people to run faster than a 25 minute 5k. All the people in their advertisements can run a 23 minute 5k though.
>>77546208they're more obsessive than ever
gyms are dead. average age in the gym looks to be now like 30+. I'm noticing far fewer younger people in general at gyms.
>>77544424niggas be scrolling
>>77544424Gym culture exploded in popularity amongst zoomers post 2020This is just a return to normalcy
>>77544904>white people have grown decadent>just buy ozempic>brown people to poor to afford ozempic>work out at the gym>good times create weak men>hard times create strong men>browns become master race
>>77546423interesting take. could be true
>>77544424Cuz everyone finally relaized its genes and working out is cope. Best you can do is become lean and hope your jaw line , frame and insertions are attractive
>>77544424>ozempic>costhard work doesn't get you anywhere anymore.
yes and that's sort of a good thing. fitness got huge enough that lots of people take it to a high level casually and it's not even their 'main' thing. also, it emerged as a hard counter to boomers literally trying to poison even subsequent generation and turn them into goyslop guzzling cattle. there no point in affirmatively identifying as "im 'not' a disgusting slob who doesn't take care of myself."
