Why can't Carnivore compete with Keto?
>>77545399keto > no sugarcarnivor > eating raw meat like a cavemanpeople immediatly think of liver king and other tards
>>77545488>keto > no sugarketo is minimum 80:20 fat:nonfat calories (ideally protein)even the fattiest steak will only get you to 70:30no wonder carnivore has a much higher failure ratethey dont have enough energy, feel exhausted, internal systems suffer (like thyroid health)keto has no such problem, keto provides enough energythe real debate is carnivore-keto (animal protein, animal fats, no plant matter whatsoever) vs mixed-keto (animal protein, and a mix of animal fats and plant fats like coconut oil, olive oil)
>>77545399Supplementation is required on Carnivore. There are nutrients you cannot get from animal products just like there are nutrients you cannot get from plants. You need both. >inb4 vegan retard calls me ketoschizo for say meat/animal products are a necessityKeto allows for plants and has around 50g of carbs. It's possible to go on keto and have all your micro-nutrient needs met, i.e. Vitamin C from broccoli which is extremely low in macros in general hence easy to fit into the diet. Soluble fiber is also needed to produce SCFA and that can be easily worked into keto diets through cruciferous vegetables. At worst you just have a carb deficit depending on how sedentary/active you are. That's easily fixed by simply adding more carbs into the diet. Both are fad diets. It's still CICO however flawed it is conceptually. (Even though you're not a bomb calorimeter or heat engine, calories are still a decent proxy that is often more effective than not if someone actually measures everything they put in their mouth). Keto just targets carbs. Carbs are often a relatively easy thing to cut. Most people tend to eat too much white bread and sugar. Cutting that out is an easy deficit. Keto just has the gimmick where it uses fat to somehow stimulate the fat metabolism. It's entirely unnecessary. You don't need to increase fat intake to burn fat. You only need to increase fat intake if current fat intake is inadequate to maintain healthy hormone levels and to run all the reactions in your body.
>>77546300The point, I think, is to keep insulin levels low to trigger ketosis more frequently. Fat is the macro that has the least influence on insulin response.
>>77545399Because on keto you can have all your favorite goyslop foods just without le carbs.
