You don't need more than 5 hours of sleep

The more you sleep, the lower your chances to actually make it.

Sleep is even more important than lifting

Nah, that's bullshit.
Even if you get perfect sleep quality (and spoiler alert, no one can do that with 100% consistency) you can only pull 5-hours for a few days/weeks before it starts to negatively impact your health.
The bare minimum is 6 hours.
The optimal range for recovery and rest is 7-8 hours.
Once you go past 8 it gives you diminishing returns, unless you were absolutely brutalized by running a maarathon or doing something similar the day before.
Don't neglect rest and recovery guys. You'd think you can push through with enough caffeine and sheer willpower, but sooner or later your body will lose both mental and physical capability to perform at it's best and those 1 or 2 extra hours of wake time won't amount to shit anyway.

I’d rather be homeless than have to live on less than 5 hours sleep every night. Not worth it.

I just started working out but I usually sleep for like 12 hours after I really push myself

For those inclined, the Andrew Roberts biography on him is one of the better historical pieces published in recent years. To think that such a man walked the earth.

I function normally with 5. I wonder if that 7-8h staple is for people having jobs etc and a body would need less than that if you're a neet .

Roberts is great. Did you know he's releasing a new book this November on Napoleon's Marshals? Can't wait.

>be me
>chronic insomniac
>just can't go to sleep until 2 or 3 AM
>begin to despise the rest of the world for insisting on starting everything at 8 in the morning
>especially fucking landscapers
>literally, unironically consider punching out the next dude who fires up a leaf blower at 7:30
>say fuck it and sleep in since I can't sleep early
>get up at like 10
>still tired
>say super fuck it
>work out until exhaustion sets in
>take herbal cocktail of tryptophan, l-lysine and reishi mushroom extract
>with a little vodka
>actually nod off before midnight
>sleep for 10+ hours
>wake up
>still tired

Really starting to believe that "only dead know peace" thing

You need to go to bed at 4AM, set up an alarm at 10:30 AM and walk out to see sunlight for 15 or 20 minutes
Repeat this for several days until your body gets used to it. Eventually start going to sleep a little earlier, so you go to bed at 3AM then 2 then 1
