how the actual living FUCK are you supposed to sustain this? I would have to eat 120g of protein every single day to have any hope of building muscle? are you fucking kidding me? how would you even be able to lift without vomiting when you're stuffed all day every day from force-feeding yourself all that protein?I could easily drink thousands of calories of pepsi but replace that with a protein shake and I would be lucky to finish one full shake per day if I really put my mind to it... and that'd just be 30g, 25% of the way there! is this all a giant psyop from the protein jew? why aren't more people calling out how bullshit these numbers are?
>>77548748You don't need that much. If you are 120lbs then 80g would be enough for you
>>77548748You can only synthesize 0.8g per pound of LEAN body mass Eating too much protein unironically hurts your gains
>>77548772>>77548800shit really? that's a lot easier. I can manage that
>>775487481 gram per LEAN body weight
>>77548800bro science truck arrived.
>>77548800Completely untrueYour body can make use of well over 1.6g/lb bw of protein>>77548748You just need to find protein that you like. (of course powder is going to be the lowest calories) And if you have trouble eating a lot in one sitting have several meals throughout the day.>protein jewLiterally how. There are several varied sources of protein so I'm not even sure which specific one you're pointing the finger at.
I'm gonna try a 12 week strength block this winter where I hop back on an LP and drop my cardio from 12 hours/week to like 6-8. Fueling properly is going to be my biggest hurdle, my lean mass is at least 120lbs, possibly higher. I like meat and protein but when I try to find something I can rely on every day I invariably get sick of it.
>>77548958Oh please, everyone knows who The Protein Jew is.
>>77548748A double quarter pounder with cheese from McDonald's already has 51 grams of protein. You eat clean, that's your problem. Clean eating means you will never get your nutrients. That's why people do it to lose weight, not to gain muscle.
>>77548972You too. Stop eating clean, simple as.
>>77548748Each pound of muscle contains 100g of protein, and you can only gain like 2.5 pounds of muscle per month maximum, so that means you need 250g of protein per MONTH to build that muscleObviously your body uses protein for other things, and maybe the muscle itself needs to digest protein as well idk, but if you think about it, 250g of protein for the entire month is not a lot at all.
>>77548748Its a total meme. First of all, its 1g of protein for every 1lb of lean muscle mass, not body weight. You have to get your body fat % checked (most gyms will do this for free). This is especially important if you are a giant 300lb fat fuck nobody is supposed to eat 300g of protein a day. Second, I've done this when I was training 5 days a week. All that happens is you just shit most of it out. I was taking 2-3 gigantic shits a day. I found that having protein constantly available was way more important. Like eating 5 or 6 smaller meals a day got me way better results than eating 3 huge meals.
The fact that so many people are actually falling for this blatant bait really speaks to the condition of posters on this board as a whole.
>>77548772how about for 140lbs if the target is getting to a lean 170lbs
>>775487481 gram per pound lolShit shit gets stupider by the day guysYou only need 1 g per kg body weight at max.
>>77548748ground turkey/beef/chicken or chicken breast. 5lbs of chicken breast is like 10 dollars at aldi's and its about 100g of protein per pound. cook add to pasta and sauce with double servings of parm cheese about 12-15g protein and 1-3tbsp of olive oil if you need more calories, easily 50-70g protein, add protein bread to get another 14-22g and to soak up any remaining sauce and oil. if your lazy like me just by 2-4 rotisserie chickens instead of raw breasts but the protein will be lower.
>>77548945>>77548958"Making use of" =\= make gains fromThere's a difference between your body trying to process it and maximizing lean mass gainPlease learn the difference
>>77548945>Bro quotes a number from an actual study>ThAtS jUsT bRoScIeNcE
I got 190g total. Of which from 'proper' sources (meat dairy etc) was 123g. Seems ok to me. Cba to use powders. Agreed that protien per lean mass is the formula. Im bulking so if i was cutting i would up my full protein source intake.
>>77548748eat up little guy
NFL athletes in their bulking phases eat at maximum 0.7-1.0 g protein per lb body weight.Somehow these hobbyists need to consume more than professional athletes weighing 200-250 lbs lean from 5”10 or 280-340 lbs lean at 6”and you’re nowhere near as active. Then you get these retarded ass infographics like OP posted questioning if this is enough. lol. Lmao, even. You guys are delusional.
pro tip: 2 (maybe 3) scoops of whey(so around 45-60g) in around 300ml of raw milk after every session is enoughyou are welcome
>>77549421Really good and helpful advice by anon right here. 10/10 post.
>>77549424>doesnt cite literally any study or quote anything>"bro quotes a number from an actual study"lol OK
>>7754941590-100g
>>77549483>NFL athletes in their bulking phases eat at maximum 0.7-1.0 g protein per lb body weight.No.>200-250 lbs lean from 5”10 or 280-340 lbs lean at 6”No.To OP if you really want to, you have to eat meat, nothing else comes close in the protein/g ratio. Enjoy having to eat several pounds of food daily otherwise.
>>77549464nice, what do have to get all that protein?
>>77549041>eating clean is badSpike your insulin to mimic free gains from insulin abuse and increase your hunger. More protein is easier if you eat another 1000 calories a day. High blood sugar is bad enough but working out actually pulls the negative effects and so does eating fiber to even it out.
I never count calories or macros but I just aim to eat protein rich food to fill in the base and feel full the longest time and if I still feel hungry, I put in some other food or carbs.
>>77549695Yeah the only thing it might hurt is your wallet but if you can afford or access it easily, just eat close half a kilo of meat/cheese/chicken/fish/eggs everyday and it's a joke to hit 100g of protein from that. Then you probably want to eat something else because eating those things is not much in calories, and those other foods will usually have some protein in them too.
>>77548748>less tons of fatty meats treat fats like a 2x a day pill as it overly satiates>learn to cook and cook as much food as thr pan fits
>>77551452>oreos syrup and as much whey as tastes fineIt has only refined sugars and not much extra fat for easy protein/satiety assuming you eat your eggs/meat otherwise for cholesterol/fat/minerals.
>>77548748>120gYeah idk bro I do 250 on bulk 200 on cut and that's pretty much np. Sub 150 is a day of garbage eating on my end. It all comes down to perspective, you choose to see it as much. You'll get used to it, I remember 140 seemed like A LOT to me 13 years ago (when I was 15 living off moms food lol). But once you take control of the cooking and learn to prep well tasting meals it's fucking ez pz.
>>77548748I know, protein is gross but you got to man up and be a man. If you're not a stick thin man but a fat woman then get off my board.
>>77551464Those sound pretty american foods so can't comment on that.
