I've been lifting for over a year now and I'm kinda mentally fatigued from being weak on the days that I'm not in gym. Anyone else relate? It's like I'm getting stronger only so I can workout...
>>77550090>weak on the days I'm not in the gymIs your boyfriend complaining about your lackluster hand jobs?
>>77550090Lifting weights is a slave activity. Your body is telling you that it's unnatural and not conducive to a good life, yet you ignore it for some reason.
>>77550090Yes, but for me it helped reducing it to 3x per week
if you play a sport you notice how much easier it is, less effort into exerting force into movements etc. Maybe switch to explosive training/workouts see if that makes you feel more mobile
>>77550090i force myself to stay out of the gym on saturday, sunday, monday (except leg day evening monday) and thursdayby the idea that i didn't go hard or efficient enough if i need any more than that because the gain is supposed to come from the rebound or recovery anyway
>>77550090no, i fuckign hate going to the gym and i cherish every day i dont have to go.
Yeah I know exactly what you mean. The thing is with strength training you eventually either decide it's your sport or you decide you're strong enough and can then maintain it with a fraction of the volume. But right now you're still in the gains phase. The strength will be there for life, you just have to grind through right now and earn it.
