did anyone have any side effects from topical minoxidil, can i stop taking it without losing all my hair? im im 22 and im norwood 3
booba
>>77550440minoxidil doesn't stop hairloss. if you stop taking it, you lose the regrowth speed it gave you. nw3 at 22 is grim though, talk about finasteride with your thrichologist and don't listen to anyone about zinc or biotin
I had arrhythmia and increased heart rate when starting on topical minoxidil. It only lasted two weeks or so; I am going to assume it was nocebo from having myself so worked up about hair loss medication; when I switched to 2.5mg oral later on I had zero sides.Anyway you need to be on a DHT blocker. I was also NW3 at 22 and just had a hair transplant at 25 because I left it too late to start.
>>77550440finasteride is proven 100x over to actually work over whatever snake oil your mind could possibly conjure up so long as you dont go over 1mg like the literature recommends and actually tests(otherwise you'll end up like one of the thousands of retards online complaining about watery cum and ED)
>>77550440Buy the liquid and add 2 or 3 drops to a glass of water daily.
>>77550564Also yes, I have to shave or tweeze my ears every week now. Sometimes momentary increased BP, but typically only when already highly caffeinated and it passes in minutes.
>>77550440You can still get heart problems from topical and its easier to overdose cause you just stop it on
>>77550440FWIW I never had side effects but it barely worked, however coming off of it didn't result in shedding either. Not falling for some silly meme about potassium channels or androgens and doing reverse-network pharmacology on dozens of hair-associated proteins turned out to work better.
>>77550440Ooooo weeee another hair loss threadHair loss is just zinc deficiency. Take 50-100mg of zinc a day(even 200mg although sparingly). Gluconate is fine. 25mg as soon as you feel the itch and re-dose 25 mg within 30mins if the itch is still there. You can reverse it. I know i did. Your ancestors had zinc levels so high it was measurable in their teeth. Red meat is a good source but has to be eaten soley and away from any plants as plant chemicals block zinc absorbtion.>>77550457You know there is science behind why zinc deficiency is the cause behind hair loss right? Biotin is a scam but zinc is actually know to repair fucking dna ffs(not that i believe in dna) its not at all far fetched to say zinc will save your hair. It saved mine and it will save countless others. Zinc also acts as a 5-ar inhibitor without the side effects(even though i don't believe in the dht theory of hairloss). Anyone here can google zinc and hair loss and find many papers on the subject. There is a non pharma solution you just dont hear about it because its not patentable.
>>77550572Or how about you not mess with high risk ass shit and take zinc instead. Zinc is low risk and works to stop hair loss. Hell if you really zinc max you might be able to regrow your hair like i did. Depends on how badly did your skull expand. (Yes your skull can expand/contract. It has to or else any change in blood pressure and your brain would get compressed and damaged.)
>>77550590It didnt work because it didnt fix the underlying cause. Its elevated intracranial pressure which leads to head expansion tight scalp inflammation and death of hair follicles. The cause of the elevated intracranial pressure is poor blood flow through the liver. This is why balding is associated with poor health outcomes. Your liver is not functioning properly and zinc helps it. But also if you eat goyslop, drink alcohol or do anything else to damage your liver you cant fix the issue. Finasteride acts on the liver somehow but since its a poison you get side effects. Seems like your liver is so cooked not even finasteride had an effect.
>>77550440It turned me into a newt
>>77550754>traditional Chinese medicine "Chi" schizobabble coded in Western liver lingoUh, no bro my liver function has come back S-tier on every test I've run despite moderate alcohol intake, I'm not balding anymore, and the liver has at best VERY tangential relationships to balding. You're *SORT OF* on to something with the inflammation, though; bizarre anti-inflammatory stuff like Betaine and Fisetin to knock down EDA2R and CXCL12 gene expression respectively, are very underrated compared to whore-moan modul8rs.
>>77550440>did anyone have any side effects from topical minoxidilNot me.>can i stop taking it without losing all my hair? im im 22 and im norwood 3Well obviously you're going to lose some hair if you stop the shit stimulating hair growth.
>>77550561They both work but they do different things. Finasteride stops or at least slows down hair loss due to DHT sensitivity. Minoxidil stimulates hair growth through extending hair anagen phases.>>77550748Lol post before and after.
>>77550743>(even though i don't believe in the dht theory of hairlossthat's because you're a retard
>>77550440OP here, I should also mention that I recently started HRT because I'm a transvestites
>>77551008>I'm a transvestitessaaaar!
>>77550440I take oral Fin & Min. My hair (fringe) began to recede when I hit 44. It was only a mild retreat, but I found it noticeable -- though other people couldn't see it. As already stated on here, you must use a DHT blocker with minoxidil, otherwise you are just pissing in the wind regarding maintaining your hair.
>>77550440>22 >Not married yetNgmi
>22 and going baldIf only you didn't watch so much porn this might not have happened to you. Get what you deserve
>>77551088>41+Do you hide your 4chan use from your wife and kids?

>>77551088>DHT blocker>Castrating yourself hormonally Do fin and min trannies really?
>>77551220I think 30 is the cut-off. If you're not married by then, it is over for you and you are an undesireable.
>>77550440I hate women
>>77551262I've been on fin for 3 years and I got my wife pregnant twice. Cope more.
