Has anyone tried this? My psychiatrist said he would recommend me and its covered by my insurance. Will it fuck my shit up? How will it effect lifting and cardio gains?
>>
>>77554429
>just do drugs lol
Psychiatry lmao
>>
>>77554429
It kinda works but it's mostly hype and it shouldn't affect your lifting or cardio gain
>>77554450
Yes psychiatry is the science of modulating various neural pathways that control cognition and behavior, with drugs. Problem anon?
>>
>>77554458
That psychiatry has devolved into "Hey just take massive doses of recreational drugs under supervision," should tell you what a racket and a joke it is. Couple that with the fact that they throw drugs at people before they've undergone any form of physiological diagnostic screening. They don't give a shit if there's anything genuinely wrong with you, it's just a drug dealer with more steps. They're not helping anyone process things better, just "feel" better, which if you had any real experience with psychiatry you'd know it's just zombifying you the overwhelming majority of the time. But so long as you're complaining less it's an improvement to them. Kike faggot.

>Yes psychiatry is the science of modulating various neural pathways that control cognition and behavior
Which neural pathway, specifically? Because I have worked in medical research (cardiology) and we don't do anything unless there is 99% certainty with mountains of documentation to prove it. Can you name specifically which neural pathway is being "modulated" and to which degree?

Psychology is a soft science, almost no studies in this field are consistently replicable, and this includes foundational studies that have defined the entire field for decades. Only Gender Studies outdoes psych on the academized bullshit scale.

NGL whenever I've done ketamine I've felt the recycle bin in my brain empty
So yeah it does cure depression
>>
>>77554466
Low IQ take I won't even seriously respond to, move along
>>77554477
Sure, ketamine in depression works through NMDA antagonism which improves neuronal plasticity through downstream BDNF increases. BDNF (and VEGF) deficits are a known cause of depression, the specific cause of this deficiency is documented as chronic stress (among others) induced neuronal atrophy @ prefrontal and temporal cortices, among others. Any more knowledge deficits you'd like addressed?
>>
>>77554429
it works but the effect doesn't last over a few weeks at best.
I'd prefer psilocybin therapy - one good session and you're good for 6months+
the only annoying part about psilocybin is the trip ... which hippy assfaggots will tell you is "insightful" and "healing" but it's actually just your brain firing on all neurons and the actual positive biochemical effects manifest in the days after the trip. if someone could invent psilocybin but without the trip he would be rich and I'd be buying that shit left and right.
so yeah, while being in a K-hole is way more enjoyable than a psilocybin trip the long term effects of psilocybin are far better than ketamin's
>>
>>77554477
>he mixes up psychology and psychiatry
>Because I have worked in medical research
yeah right, you being an operation room cleaner janitor doesn't mean you "work in medical research" lol
>>
>>77554583
I'm guessing it's some tard with a pleb tier degree that got some bitch ass lab monkey job staring at test tubes and mixing shit up for the real scientists

THIS!
>>
>>77554429
It was proven to be as effective as placebo, but by that point an entire industry was already built upon it. At best it can be helpful if accompanied by psychotherapy at the same time - stupid people benefit from the altered emotional state. No, the substance does not have magical long term effects.
>>
It's worth a shot. the worst thing that'll happen is you won't enjoy the hole and will be a bit wonky for a few hours after. lifting and gains will be unaffected. just don't try to lift right after the session.

im already mentally stable and pure of heart so all my ketamine experiences have just been fun.

>>77554844
it outperforms plain placebo in that sugar pills don't have nearly the effect it does. there is still a question of whether or not it actually does anything or if it's a stronger placebo due to the hole being such a unique and intense experience that biases people's expectations more than a boring sugar pill does.

but who gives a shit. it's safe and fun as hell and if it tricks you into not being depressed, that's great.
>>
>>77554429
Do it. I'd much rather take a club drug that countless gay dudes and ravers slam every weekend with minimal consequences than some school shooter SSRI bullshit. Ketamine therapy is basically doing a bump of K once a week. If that caused any real issues we'd damn sure know by know.
>>
>>77554583
This absolute retard doesn't realize that Psychiatry is downstream from Psychology.

>>77554595
University degree in statistics.
>>
>>77554429
It's the same bullshit as "medical marijuana". You know it's bullshit, the doctors know it's bullshit, everyone involved knows it's all bullshit, that it's just a first foot in the door to further degeneracy, further drug legalization. They can't just straight up legalize it, so they go the "medicinal" route, then X years down the line they say "well hey, people have been taking it medicinally for X years, why not just make it legal now?". They're trying to do the same thing with shrooms too.
>>
>>77554566
If I asked ChatGPT the same question would it give me the same response you did?
>>
>>77554583
>>77554595
I'm laughing at the fact that the two of you only know about research from cartoons, and imagine research departments being guys in lab coats mixing chemicals until the beakers explode. In reality most of it is about analyzing data.
>>
Some places give you iv ket and put you in a hole, but that's rare and expensive and most places are not doing that fyi. Most places just give you a nasal spray thing or those "troche" lozenge things. Usually like 50-80 dose. Some places just give it to take on your own at home and other places require that they administer to you at their office and you lay in a bed for 90 minutes.

Anyways I've done plenty of ketamine. I don't like it. The high sucks at all dose ranges and I think you need to be autistic to enjoy it. And I think it's very fishy that it's suddenly being promoted all over the place. Medical industry, mainstream media, celebrities, politicians, there's ads for it everywhere.

CIA experimented with psychedelic as brainwashing tools and it didn't work. But ketamine really does make your mind more open to brainwashing. Ketamine + sissyhypno is what made the wachowski bros troon out.
>>
I went through with it. Ketamine didn't do much and eventually I quit it. In the end SSRI was the one that actually got me out of the hole. I also quit that shit but am fine now.
>>
>>77554958
I'm well aware of the research process and have participated in it, 80% is prep, 10% actual action, 10% analysis. The guy I was replying to sounds like a lab monkey they assign the bitch work too, they're not having their lab monkey doing data analysis lel
>>
>>77554429
i was sitting in a parking lot across from a ketamine clinic and saw a guy stumble out, stand in front of his tesla for like 30 seconds, then somehow manage to unlock it. then he turned around, sat stopped in the parking lot for like a minute and drove off. had a sheriffs dept license plate lol. considering what it did to him id probably avoid actually using it for treatment of any illness, and just leave it to recreation. ive heard ketamine is pretty wild when you take a fat dose of it
>>
Aaaahhhh im losing my miiiiinnnddd, just give me horse tranquilizer doc
>>
>>77555178
Aren't you people the ones taking actual horse dewormer because some podcast jew told you it's safe and effective (it's neither especially in horse dosing)
>>
>>77554429
I heard it’s insanely bad for your heart
>>
All dissociatives and hallucinogens are equally effective
It's just a placebo with some side effects
>>
>>77554566
>Low IQ take I won't even seriously respond to, move along
In other words you have no rebuttal and are an assblastes pharma dick sucking faggot that doesn't know anything more than what GPT tells you

isn't Ketamine the reason the Wachowskis became tranny faggots?
