I tried to be a fireman, but honestly, I failed the CNA course, failed at blue-collar work, and the military rejected me. This is my last hour before throwing myself off a cliff. I turn 24 in March so I have little time left. Goals Quit drinking and quit smoking weedBecome more masculine Somehow fix having 60 IQ anyway possible Somehow do one thing right Become a an EMT and get into fire school afterwards Finally have a reason to be confident or have any respect for myself Finally be able to look in the mirror and not wanna die Have something to be proud about Sorry but I got scrawny arms
>24it has never been this over
Congrats, with this attitude it's never too late. You're already onto a great start
>>77560402>>77560403Thanks guys I know how badly I am a fuck up
>>77560399>24Youre just getting started son. You'll find your path. Remember that everyone is faking it, some just lie better. You got some real solid lookin arms too
>>77560411I am not sure some guy at my work said I looked scrawny so I been stress eating a lot
>>77560405Ragging on yourself like this is probably going to be more of a hindrance than a help to you achieving your goals. If I were you Iād practice not doing that so much
>>77560416Why would someone like me have anything to be positive about I am ugly I am stupid probably 60 iq An alcoholic and stoner I legitimately failed everything longest job I had was 120 days
>>77560419Sure that may all be true and Iām not saying to ignore those issues. Im just saying that excessively beating yourself up about them is probably not helping to revolve them. It might even be feeding into them and making them worse
>>77560428I mean still why would I be confident or happy even positive if I have nothing
>>77560429What blue collar job did you have and how did you fail at it ?
>>77560419How much are you drinking, be brutally honest.
>>77560431Roofing I was on a crew with an alcoholic man foreman from El Salvador He gave up on teaching me after 2 weeks and then spent 90 days brutally falling me useless, stupid and waste of airI took and one day he found out about my suicide attempt because of a Facebook post my aunt made about suicide prevention I quit the company because i was a bitchLandscaping was worse I openly joked about suicide, was negative and someone said I acted dumber than I am also said I clearly never had a mom or dad which is true both were never in my life
>>77560433Tonight a bottle of liquor I only drink when shit gets bad last time it was this bad I had 12 modelos and 4 shots of rum
>>77560439So you can knock down a 750 of 40 proof and be relatively intact? Of course, drunk, but still relatively fine?
>>77560437I like how you place all the blame for failing on yourself when you had an alcoholic El Salvadoran bully foreman teaching you the trade. Hardly ideal conditions for learning
>>77560440Yes
>>77560442I mean if I was useful id be taught
>>77560467Alright, this probably means you are alcohol dependent to some degree. I used to be able to throw back about 1L and still "function". I don't know if you've done this before, but I've found a good rule of thumb is it takes 3 weeks to a month to climb down from "comfortable 750" territory. In fact, the more likely thing that's happening to you is GABA rebound. Conceptually, normal people are unconscious after a 750. If you're not (and you're not), it means your body is compensating with a variety of mechanisms to fight against the depressant effects. If you take away the alcohol, things are out of balance, severely on the nervous, can't sleep, shaky, etc side of things. But these are just the mild symptoms, it can get bad, very bad.Don't listen to retards on the internet, withdrawal is not linear and depends on your usage patterns. What happens to a lot of people is that getting shitfaced feels good. Then it becomes regular. Then comes "insomnia" but it's alcohol withdrawal. Then comes the realization that simply drinking every night to "help you sleep" works. Then comes a shot or two in the morning to get rid of the shakes, and counting down the hours until 5pm-ish.The way to climb down from where you're at is to keep your drinking patterns largely intact, but steadily decrease the amount. Pick some booze to standardize on and make a schedule with a steady downwards slope to zero. You drink even if you don't feel like it, because you're not after the buzz, but you're easing your system back to equilibrium. The zero day is where you "stop".Then the clock starts ticking and you'll be bored as shit, irritable, and just generally unhappy for a month. At some point you'll have the deepest, most realistic, most colorful dream you've ever had, and coffee suddenly is amazing, and that's back to zero equilibrium wise.I'd say best bang for the buck is three months dry before deciding if you want to go back. I just mostly drink NA ordered in a glass if out.
>>77560399>I turn 24 in March so I have little time left. You are a child and indeed a retard.
>24LMAO it has never been more over, unc.Should have had like 3 kids and a career and house by now
>i wanna fix my life>goes on 4chan
