Wanna try getting into remission holistically.

Have anons with IBD tried anything like this?

Im thinking about either keto or maybe a non-keto but carivore-eque diet thats meat/fat heavy but with lots of low-fiber fruits/juices and lots of milk (is it that important to be in ketosis per se for IBD?)

this nigga can help with that meme disease
>>
>>77564286
who is that, i asked a serious question thoughever
and what do you mean with meme? i need to treat it some way nomatter what so i was looking into keto, animal-based with fruits and dairy, low-fiber diets etc.. before jumping into immune-compromising meds
>>
>>77564009
Sorry about your diagnosis, anon
>>
>>77564009
Try BPC-157 my nigga
>>
>>77564353
do you have it too?
>>
>>77564009
Nick Norwitz MD PhD cured his crohn's disease with keto but I find his mannerisms annoying so I don't watch his videos.
>>
>>77564009
as much as I gathered paleo ketogenic diet (grass fed beef) might have a good chance to pull You out of it (according to Laszlo Boros and Sophia Clemens) - they advocate agains sugars and acrbohydrates alltogether because these promote wrong gut bacteria

hope You get better anyway
>>
>>77564009
You sure your pancreas can handle all that fat? Diet alone can't fix you, you need to eliminate the sibo and fix the underlying shits causing it like stress or a broken MMC and so on
>>
>>77564009
lots of fruits? that's not keto. unless maybe if you juice them and throw away the liquid and eat what remains
>>
ibd-aid helped me alot, very strict diet thou
>>
>>77564951
never said it was keto thoughever, im hearing some stories of healing IBD with diet but what im trying to find out if it has to be a ketosis thing or that it is low-fiber and the abscense of oxalates, absense of processed stuff/ seed oils in a more lose animal-based diet that is the thing that does the good... idk

desu a standard keto diet with lots of nuts and fiberous veggies with oxalates and stuff maybe doesnt sound that good for IBD..
>>
>>77564009
yeah don't do this. Just listen to your doctor's advice instead of some online alchemists
>>
>>77565444
that feels like giving up, thoughever.. maybe one can combine both
>>

Commendations for what seems like your first instinct to be to enter remission holistically.

The (((doctors))) who say diet does not have any effect on your dis-ease status are unknowingly revealing a partial truth. There are people who manage to enter remission by eating whatever they want.

You seem like you are doing your due diligence as I did also after receiving my diagnosis. Here are a few things you could experiment with:

-grounding/earthing/walks
-pray before meals and chew
-fascia movements
-awareness around trauma
-castor oil/DMSO
-vagus nerve exercises
-bone broth/ slippery elm tea
-get sunlight

Getting good info related to Crohn's can be difficult so do some digging but also don't get obsessed else your body will start to worry and become pre-occupied with symptoms and diet.

sorry if this sounds like some eat pray love bullshit but it has worked for me and others, with that said there may be a time and a place for the conventional route but i will leave it there.

Blessings to you

I had gastritis, and chronic stomach issues.
Switching to filtered water improved my gut health tremendously. If you drink tap water get a decent filter asap. If you're an anon reading this and your stomach is fine, and you still drink tap water, get a good filter anyway

This. Source it from Healthgevity. I get it from my rheumatologist.

well a lot of fiber and FODMAPs/prebiotics can just be fuel for your inflammation. Ive struggled with IBS myself (which is a symptom in itself). often linked to SIBO, which can itself be a symptom and a cause of something else, so you have to peel back the onion and figure out what’s causing your issues. its usually NOT just what you eat but your whole life style choices

ersonally, what worked for me was a low carb diet paired with antimicrobials like berberine capsules for a couple weeks, followed by a few weeks of low FODMAP and then slowly reintroducing foods, step by step.

you can try this yogurt too. makes my shits a textbook example good
you have to invest into a yogurt macking machine DIY it. of course do not pair probiotic stuff with antimicrobials. thats just causing a never ending war in your gut

https://youtu.be/wchmObOotRg

also, stress management and chilling the fuck out are JUST as important as your diet. Look up stuff about the gut-brain connection. and probably your gut motility too, like not snacking on something every hour, but being strict about when you eat and so on.

Crohns /IBS /IBD is parasites. simple as. take green black walnut wormwood supp. its bitter af so mix with lemon/lime citrus juice shot (oj mixes bad). recommend some type of binder, activated charcoal works best imo. without a binder, the dying parasites will have you feeling on the verge of a shroom trip for a week.
>3 droppers worth in AM
>3 droppers worth before bed
will be cured about 2-4weeks
>>
>>77565982
>simple as
no, stop generalizing please. maybe in your case it was parasites. but this is now how it always works
>>
>>77565993
fk off retarded cunt. it really is that simple. go read any published med journal on crohns and every feces sample has worms in it kek. only nations without preventative parasite has these fake diseases. imagine being as big pharma cooked as u. stupid fkn woman, show tits or gtfo trans barbie.
>u type like a fat bitch that does bird hands and nail clicking
>>
>>77565998
>this mad
see no wonder your gut is fucked. probably its not the parasites hehe.
see this is the problem with this board. your autism is paired with an inflated narcissistic ego, hence the maldy. and we have many many many people like you around here unfortunately just adding to the noise. but you'll see it eventually.
>>
>>77565982
nah, parasite tests were included along the usual tests and there were none
>>
>>77564009
>(is it that important to be in ketosis per se for IBD?)

isn't ketosis just burning different fuel? the ketogenic diet itself is low inflammatory bc youre limiting carbs below 30-50g

>>77565607
this one is a based high consciousness /x/ knower, u might wanna follow him

I have crohns. My understanding is that everyone’s is a bit different.

Experimenting with removing foods from your diet and seeing what your trigger foods are may help.

In my case I found too much fiber will royally fuck me up for a day, so I avoid kale like the plague and am mindful of how much fiber I get from other foods. It sucks because mango is my favorite fruit but that often fucks me too.

I also do monthly entyvio infusions and my last colonoscopy came back clean (previous I had a stricture and bowel resection).

Basically, listen to your doctor, try to record what you eat and how you feel in the time period after, and work through the process of figuring out the particulars of your crohns. It’s annoying but doable.
>>
I bad SIBO for a month after food poisoning (shitting a half cup of shit like every 1.5 hours for like 4 weeks straight with bad cramps and abdominal pain)

I fixed it by solely drinking kefir, organic bone broth and barely cooked eggs

I know its obviously different than chrones/IBS but maybe not so different; the gut microflora must be a significant role in these cases
>>
Kinda cringe, but Mr. Beast has Chrohn's and he seems to talk about it a lot. So you have someone with unlimited resources seeking treatment for the same disease. I'd check out what he does to manage it.
>>
>>77566216
>for like 4 weeks
bro like did you not realize at around day 2 or 3 that you should stop eating slop?
>>
>>77566250
The thing with crohns is everyone’s is different. My doctor told me it was sort of a catch all diagnosis when you have inflammation but they’re not sure why.
>>
The same way that you should disregard every fat fuck boomer's advice on dating since they have never had to date in 2000 + 27 - 1, you should disregard everyone's opinion here on treating an IBD if they themselves have not been through the wringer. You can start by ignoring everyone who has misspelled Crohn's, including yourself OP, as well as cretins screeching about parasites and SIBO and other irrelevant things.

That settled, there is no such thing as treating an IBD "holistically", if by holistically you mean without pharmaceutical intervention. Sorry, you got shafted genetically, your ancient genes which exist to help you survive eating rotten grains are causing your intestinal lining to misidentify commensal microbes as foreign pathogens - unless you go full inawoods and never eat a carbohydrate again, you'll be fighting an uphill battle.

You need to work with your GI (doctors who stick their thumbs in your butt are gay I know, sorry this is the best we have) to get you on the correct modern biologic. Skip humira and remicade, those are too heavy-handed, get on stelara, entyvio, or something similar. YOUR GOAL IS TO AVOID SURGERY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. I can promise you that the inconvenience of being tied to a once monthly shot or once every 8 week infusion pales in comparison to the quality of life decrease that comes with missing huge chunks of your intestine. Keep being the squeaky wheel if you have issues - with modern medicine you should be able to get to the point where you are symptom free.

That said, as this anon >>77566194
said, even though food won't "heal" you, it certain foods will make you feel worse, and should be avoided. Do your best to experiment and figure out what works for you. While you are flaring you should probably stick to "low residue" within reason but experiment as your condition permits.

Hi anon, I also have Crohn's

Diets never did shit for me. Hated it. My parents made me diet and they still think its the way to go, despite fucking me up. I was already severely malnourished, I'm not sure why they thought putting a 70 lb individual on a strict, disgusting diet was a good idea. I also really hated eating, as my intestines hurt 24/7.

My condition is hardly affected by my diet. Certain foods make my tummy hurt, sure thing... but they don't cause flareups or actually contribute to the disease itself. Avoid fried food, spicy food, acidic food, non-fermented dairy, you know. The standard. It won't put you in remission it'll just make you feel less like shit.

FIND A MEDICATION THAT WORKS FOR YOU. I did monthly infusions for about a year until I shifted to taking Rinvoq daily.

Do not waste your time with any "holistic" approach. IBD IS AN AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE. ITS NOT IBS. ITS YOUR BODY ATTACKING YOURSELF. You need to act quickly and effectively. Get doctor, a GI, that specializes in this kind of thing. Don't take any bullshit from anybody.
>>
>>77567091
I hope things get better for you. IBD stunted my development. It happened right when puberty started so I started my teenage years with a lot of hardship. I don't even know if I'm even able to have a baby since I have to take Rinvoq continuously. I always wanted to be a mom.
>>
What fixed my chrons was that I stopped being a permanently online malding chud and I moved to a different country as started living my dream dolce vita life. I'm kidding you not I eat slop and I stopped the autistic minmaxing + lots of meditation and sun
>>
>>77567021
Alright bro, opinion disregarded

Hello, I am the telepathic healer 4CHAN ACANON.
You've discovered Crohn's to be a disease that can "randomly" pop up later in life because it is caused by handsy contact from dirty cognitohazards and schizos. Everyone in Hollywood/government/CIA is aware of the problem of dirty hazard people and avoids them appropriately.
Post in >>>/x/acanon/ for free, permanent healing of this condition.
>>
look up fecal transplants, they work miracles. if your insurance doesn't cover it and you're in TAMPA hmu and I'll drop a log directly into your hole. you'll need to provide your own anal forceps.
