Just got back from the dentist earlier and he recommended having a periodontist examine my receding gumline. I've had it to some degree for years and mostly it didn't seem to a degree that my dentists were too concerned, but it is visible in my back teeth and I have had some fillings done to cover it up. I don't have bleeding or sensitive gums or anything like that. Has anyone else dealt with this issue and to what degree? Should I be concerned enough to do something like a gum graft? Any advice, schizo or legit, on methods to mitigate the problem?

Nigger, how often do you brush your teeth and for how long?
>>
>>77577933
Twice a day, every day, as well as rinsing twice and flossing every morning.

Stop being a dentist's pay pig and get on vitamins D3 and K2. Nutrition fixes teeth, not hygiene. Look into Weston A. Price.

I was looking into things a bit and saw the K2/D3 thing come up a lot. I ordered some already, figured it can't hurt to add it to my daily stack anyways.

I've been taking D3 and K2 supplements for over 5 years and nothing changed.

STOP USING HARD BRUSHES
USE ONLY SOFT BRUSHES

Noted, I have been using hard brushes my whole life, and actually I know brushing too hard can be one cause of gum recession. I will order some of these.

I do advanced oxidation processes lifted from industrial wastewater remediation plants, at chemistry skill tiers far above what (((dense-tits))) can comprehend.

Hi

Lack of vitamine C is linked to that

Receding gums is often a sign of heart disease

I have this exact issue. And needed some filling near the gum line.

Number one switch to an electric toothbrush, go slowly and softly. Do not push hard on your teeth. Use floss. Don’t use mouthwash. Next you need to sleep with a mouth guard because you are probably grinding at night which makes the gums worse. Last get sensodyne toothpaste for your gums.

All that should help.

I have a very healthy lifestyle and brush. This issue stems from other things.

OP here, You sound like you have a very similar situation to me. I will take your advice to heart, thank you anon. I actually ordered the sensodyne toothpaste the other day. Is mouthwash not good for this problem? I have been in the habit of rinsing twice a day for years as well as flossing once a day.

So mouth wash doesn’t actually do anything. It can help if you have some kind of oral infection but thats it. 2 different dentists have told me to stop using mouthwash. It also dries out your mouth which makes the gum issue worse. Just brush and floss, no more.

Also if you are using any form of nicotine, like chewing tobacco, vaping, etc it makes the gum issue worse.

You can stop the recession and even improve it slightly with good decisions

Fix the issue first and then they can fix the gums by either repositioning the gumline or with gum grafts if it's severe enough.
