no it just means you're overweight and is an indicator that your heart is working harder than normal dude to the increased mass. which is what bmi basically is for.
>>
>>77583605
>it just means you're overweight
So you are fat

>30BMI
You are obese actually.
>>
>>77583616
In the dexa I was 29.6 so not obese, but a month of two after this DEXA I had a very high sodium meal and drank lots of water and got up to 107kg so I was obese and still sub 10% body fat
>>
>>77583611
I thought dexa was a bs marketing gimmick for places like anytime fitness
>>
>>77583619
29.6 is just as obese as 30.

>he thinks only bodyfat determines if he is fat
Lol.
>>
>>77583611
zamn nice glutes bro no homo
>>
>>77583622
no, those are bioimpedence scanners.
DEXA is dual energy X-ray so needs people with medical licences to operate them.

>>77583624
no 29.6 is 0.4 less than 30. Obese is over 30.
A month after the DEXA I was an obese 107kg with veins climbing the lower abs
>>
>>77583632
Fat is still fat. You were obese then, you are obese now
>>
>>77583632
Either some anytime fitness do have dexa or they bold face lie to every new customer who walks in
>>
>>77583634
I think you may have a learning disability, don't worry I'll keep your low IQ a secret.

>>77583637
I'm guessing its the latter unless anytime fitness is employing people with medical licences as gym staff which seems unlikely

>>
>>77583643
Youre just delusional but its ok. Theres a reason youre not posting body to prove youre obese with ab veins lmao
>>
>>77583605
Explain what you think the word "fat" means if not overweight
>>
>>77583672
Excessively overweight. More so than chubby or thick or chunky but not as severe as obese
>>
>>77583675
That's a proprietary definition that only you have, and it's incorrect, and goes against established and accepted colloquialisms. Fat means an excess of fat, which over establishes in the term overweight
>>
>>77583592
or you lift weights
>>
>>77583705
You're confusing excess body fat with excess body weight. They're related, not synonymous. A bodybuilder can be overweight without being fat, and someone can have excessive body fat at a normal BMI. And colloquially, fat, chubby, and obese carry different connotations of severity. You're arguing semantics while failing to understand the distinction.
>>
>>77583592
yeah no shit

Brutal bone structure. Your clavicles and iliac crest are literally the same width no wonder you became a roidtranny
>>
>>77583611
I found this image to be hilarious.
>>
>>77583715
The BMI scale does not apply to bodybuilders. It applies to a normal person. Fat means overweight. You're simply wrong.

>The BMI scale does not apply to bodybuilders
Then why are all of these "healthy" guys needing CPAPs
>>
>>77583884
No idea, probably, because that's totally irrelevant to the conversation and you're pivoting to it because you don't want to admit that you were wrong.
>>
>>77583886
>you were wrong
Then why does it say that being overweight aka fat is a risk of needing a cpap. If bmi doesnt apply to bodybuilders why are they needing the same machines as obese people?

The old /sci/ence on this was WRONG, and normal BMIs are in fact a psyop.

Try not shooting yourself in the foot next time you're in a gaslighting mood.

Everybody who says this never posts their body. If it is true (which its not) post your body and prove your body somehow defies science
>>
>>77583905

Uh...
I'm just a bit of a statistical outlier in the NHANES dataset in terms of high BMI and low bodyfat, but I'm nowhere near defying /sci/ence. In fact, researching lots of different metabolic pathways and their chemoproteomics is the main reason I'm at that size/composition.
>>
>>77584267
Funny how you didn't actually post your body.
>>
>>77584274
Funny how having a BMI of 27-28 and a bodyfat of 8-11% isn't really worthy of a medical case report beyond "new criteria for healthy individual."
>>
>>77584287
Yeah, so like I said it's funny how you just proved this point and you continue to do so with every single post that doesn't include your body.
>>
Anything over a BMI of 22 is fat territory.

You're fat if you don't have a visible six pack (doesn't apply to DYEL skellies).

Fats still don't have a replacement for BMI while they don't want doctors or nurses to bring out the calipers to clamp their love handles.

It's called waist-to-height ratio, bro; I score 0.45 on that and am also overweight, so the seething can officially commence while I refuse to post body.
