Do you prefer to do pullups before or after your compound lifts? Each will tire you out for the other.

After, because I consider pull-ups an endurance lift. In terms of "functional strength" I want to be able to lift my body regardless of how tired I am from other activities, and in terms of aesthetics I understand that bodyweight exercise won't make my shoulders in to boulders.

How many consecutive pullups can you do fresh, vs how many can you do at the end of a workout?
I am a pulluplet and feel like I would struggle to do even a single one when I am tired at the end of my workout
For chads who are not pulluplets how much difference does it make?

When I started doing pullups I used a resistance band tied to the bar and around my (bent) knees. Got me used to the movement, how to activate muscles correctly, and of course it is easier. Like starting with lighter weights.

Before. Pull ups are the best back exercise so there is no reason to not start with them
>inb4 an idiot says deadlifts are a back exercise

You lift your body up. So yes its a lift
>>
>>77585494
no I pull my body up

If it goes upwards then the position of the object has changed vertical position relative to its original location. Therefore it is a lift.

You won't build good back without some type of rows. Agree about Shitlifts though.

If you are looking for progress in pull up power, do them fresh.

If you are doing endurance or tendon strength, do them whenever.

3x10 pull ups is the golden number.
When you reach it, give it a lot of time to adapt. Just maintain it for few months at least. Focus on other stuff.

It's a decision that will keep you going for a long time.

Pull-ups are a compound lift, and I treat them as one of my main lifts. I do them with a neutral grip and I add weight with a dip belt.
I'm currently at +23.75kg (82kg bodyweight) for 3x5 reps.

>neutral grip
What made you chose this?
