Yes. It's not like you'll get shotgun wedded nowadays anymore, or as if losing maybe 2-3 more months to figure out that it won't work makes much of a difference, not like you're drowning in women all begging for your attention.
For most men, their opportunities are limited enough that they shouldn't waste them unless there are some serious dealbreakers involved. Worst case scenario, it doesn't work out and you gained some experience that will help you have an easier time in the future.
At the risk of sounding like a coping foid, I learned more from my experiences that went to shit than from the ones that worked out reasonably well. You're a man so you'll always be expected to take charge, and the more experience you have, the easier that becomes.
