>nearing 1 year mark of lifting>I still look like shitover status?
>>77599232do steroids and stop wasting your time
>>77599232More important question: wog status?
>>77599244Irreparably trooned
>>77599232it's always the 3 things. food, sleep, and training. most people struggle the training part the most. if you want to get into med school, you will study like you want to get in. if you want a decent body, study and train like you want it.
>>77599232lift to failure and eat more protein. drink more protein. breathe more protein.
>>77599232perfectly normalyou don't start looking good until about 3 years in
>>77599232>nearing 1 year mark of liftingcongratulations anon, that takes effort and consistency and motivation that most people simply don't have, you are already on the path to success and you can apply the same logic to any pursuit in your life>I still look like shitthat depends on genetics and it's entirely subjective, maybe you don't notice the changes on a day to day basis but if you compared the photos from earlier, if you had them, then you would see actual and meaningful improvement, just stop obsessing over your self-image and just do the things that you need to do, believe in the proccess and that's itit takes time but you are already on your way to your destination since starting is always the hardest part, godspeed anon we are all rooting for you and want you to succeed>over status?it's only the beginning
Post lifts. Can’t expect to look good if you don’t lift real weights. Ronnie Coleman spoke of this.
>>77599232Stop listening to liars on the internetRealistically nobody gets anywhere meaningful in 1 year, you won't start to see real gains until the 3 year mark if you're starting out fully untrained, no sports background or anythingThe standard for a beginner is to look like shit, if you wanna be different you gotta keep on going, keep progressive overloading, keep eating (eating is as important as training bro nothing will happen if you don't eat right), keep going for another year, and then another year after that.
you should see some real changes after 1 year, the first year it's the fasters and easiest gains you're training like shit or you're fat
>>77599537not OP but i´m on my 1 year mark as well. i dont want to instantly kys when i look in the mirror, so thats a huge plus. always was a skeleton, i have a deformed ribcage so my ribs show through t-shirts sometimes. my arms went from literal sticks to slightly above average (meaning actual average, not /fit/ average) in that year. i´m actually pretty happy with those & shoulders. chest & stomach look like 5% better then before i started, still absolutely horrid though. its the eating thats killing me. if i eat 3 full meals i day i feel like dying. my stomach is just not made for that.
>>77599318I went hard and I look good 8 months in. I started out scrawny but had good tendon strength from sports as a kid. I won't lie tho. Minimal benefits at 4 months but at 7 I looked wayyyy better than I ever have.
>>77599698I wanna add that I also hit the ground running. I wasn't like most pussies that just stick to easy shit like the pec deck or something. First workout I ever hit was flat DB press. I started with 30s, I'm now doing 65s. I suggest working on your arms, legs and chest with isolated stuff so you can feel them and actually lift a proper amount with them. Then move to compound lifts like bench press and bent over barbell rows. Incline bicep curls are slept on because they're humbling.
>>77599232First year you do it basically for free. It's like your learning phase. If in the second year you see no progress you are fucked
>>77599232depends on your build and stuff, and if you were ever athletic in the past.if you are overweight but were always active/athletic, you could see ridiculous strength gains in your first year, even if you don't look "thinner" or something.contrast this with a skinnyfat or auschwitz mode skelly who has never played sports, even if they do everything correct, it's going to take a while to start increasing strength and muscle, because even the neural adaptation aspect is all new to them.either way, you have to trust the process. don't judge your outward appearance subjectively, judge the numbers objectively. biceps increased in diameter? dexascan fat versus muscle composition? vo2max and spirometry better? lifting heavier weights with longer time under tension (especially eccentric)?"i look" is retarded female-brained thinking. your body is a chemical/mechanical machine. nothing more. quantify it and draw your conclusions based on quantifiable metrics.ni66afl@gg0t.
>>77599244Fact: repetitive bait like this is done by someone called the trooned wog. He literally doesn't go outside. He's 39 and his life revolves around spamming 4chan
>>77600274I feel like it originated from Zyzz since he was an Australian roidtranny, and non-white
>>77600274Both you and him spend all your time on 4chan. you are both the biggest losers on this board.
