Honestly, something I learned from living alone is that you should really invest into a good mattress. For 10 years I used the default one that came with the appartment until I realized it's creaking after I had sex on it once. Went out there and got myself a new one for 300-400 bucks, tough and heavy, put it in my frame and it now feels like fucking heaven whenever I throw myself on it. If i ever move I'm definitely taking that thing with me. Already feel sorry for the poor bastard who has to carry it out.
