I like that mode for things like my 'social' workspace where I keep my irc client, email client, etc. I don't like my irc client to take up half the damn workspace, just enough to see what people are saying and a reasonable amount of scrollback so I can keep up with the conversation, but I DO want my email client to take up half the workspace so I don't have to hide my mailboxes and inbox just to be able to read an entire email more than 3 lines at a time before I have to scroll. When I do that and post screenshots, certain anons throw a fit over all of the "wasted space" around my irc client. ...so? It's my damn screen real estate to waste. If that's how using my machine feels most comfortable to me that's what matters.
