>hate technology>hate the people associated with it>hate the people it has created>the most low iq tech-addled people have turned you into their meme prophetIs this his divine punishment? it just seems too ironic to be coincidental
it's not about hating tech, it's about recognizing the unsustainability of the structures we're designing our entire civilization around
>>108874461No, he literally calls you people subhuman retards.
>>108874427The strange thing about Ted is that, although he has a super high IQ, the best thing he could come up with was to randomly send bombs. And then he even got caught. That was his high IQ achievement. Ted is one of the best examples of how stupid and ineffective high IQ people can actually be. His fate makes me seriously doubt the fetishization of IQ.
>>108874503He was schizophrenic, his delusions/impulses were not governed by his own logic, it's like saying>if stephen hawking was so intelligent how come he couldn't walk?
>>108874503He sent bombs to get enough attention that his manuscript was published. You would never have known what he thought if if he hadn't sent the bombsHe got caught because his brother recognized his writings and pointed him out to the cops. He specifically talked about how technology erodes the bonds of family in the text
>>108874542>He got caught because his brother recognized his writingsstylometry. he should have thought about that when he sent out his manifesto. this is totally his own fault.
>>108874526he wasn't schizophrenic/delusional. this is exactly how the system us framing him. you aren't doing him any favor with this.
>>108874427Capitalism commodifies all, consuming even the most offensive of qualities. It numbs you of any qualia not derived from the acquisition or loss of wealth. It trains you to view your fellow man as nothing more than sources and sinks of the almighty dollar. That which is inherent is eliminated, and that which is poignant is mass produced. And through this ritual, by the laws of supply and demand, all is stripped of its value except wealth itself and the very process of consumption.
>>108874632See? Psuedo-intellectual babbling midwits, the whole bunch.
>>108874503>The strange thing about Ted is that, although he has a super high IQ, the best thing he could come up with was to randomly send bombsIndeed, and only 2% of the epstein files have been released and we already got one overlap. Naturally it would be expected that ted would target mk ultra cells nested in ivy leagueshttps://www.thetedkarchive.com/library/ted-kaczynski-related-texts-in-the-epstein-files
>>108874632I liked that it made a lot of sense. What's the alternative and how do we combat this?

>>108874427The Ultimate High-IQ Redditor: Ted Kaczynski’s Supreme Debate WinTed Kaczynski was the ultimate high-effort poster. A certified Harvard genius, he authored a 35,000-word manifesto—the definitive r/collapse essay designed to destroy the techno-industrial system with facts and logic.Like a true Redditor, Ted prioritized winning the argument over his own safety. When his lawyers tried to save his life by framing him as mentally ill, Ted furiously fought the narrative. He debated the court to prove his perfect sanity, treating his trial like a locked thread on r/changemyview. He won the debate, successfully proved he was sane, and secured a life sentence. A flawless victory.Yet, his praxis was shockingly low-IQ. To down the global tech infrastructure, he mailed crude bombs to random academics. This is the ideological equivalent of downvoting three comments and expecting the entire Reddit server architecture to collapse.Ultimately, the system treated him with brutal irony. The state did not care about his advanced mathematics or deep philosophy. They locked him up for the exact same reason they lock up any common street criminal: property damage and violence. Ted went to prison not as a philosophical prophet, but as a basic offender, proving that a high-IQ internet argument changes absolutely nothing in the real world.
I forget that these threads are always swiftly attacked by glowies
>>108874427>the most low iq tech-addled peopleThat would be you, but you don't sound particularly thrilled about primitivism. What gives?
>>108874968This same safe-risque image has been posted to reddit 655 times, thanks for your input but I think I will ignore it.
>>108874503>the best thing he could come up with was to randomly send bombsWorked like a charm. Almost no one's ever heard of Ellul but everyone knows Ted.

>>108874744Thanks anon :) I'm glad it resonated with you.The most important thing you have, and that which society is most poised to destroy, is your own mind. Luckily, the methods it employs are largely of convenience rather than force. Actively reject that which seeks to pacify you, and revel in that which is difficult. The minds neuroplasticity is both its greatest strength and its greatest weakness. Your brain will reconfigure itself however you train it to, and you will be surprised by the speed at which it does this. Something being difficult is evidence of new neural pathways being formed, or weak pathways being reinforced. Find joy in this knowledge, and use it as motivation to force yourself to continue. Reshaping your brain is itself an important goal. You likely already have some idea of what you should be doing, and some excuse for why you aren't doing it. Whatever that thing is is your first step. Im not telling you to banish or separate yourself from society, and I won't prescribe a societal role to you. What I would urge you to do is to find likeminded people in the real world (not online) and form community. Also, reading nonfiction books is the most efficient way to gain knowledge, and working out (especially running) will improve your headspace.Obviously, this is a prescription for an individual rather than society. It's something you can actually do.
>>108875171That's truly inspirational. Do you have a blog or something?Maybe a manifesto I can read? And can you tell me more about your offline community?
>>108875185I haven't written anything like that, sorry. I don't think I have things figured out to the extent that I would be justified in writing something so formal yet.As far as the offline community, I just mean to find people amenable to such ideas and work together with them.
>>108875278Maybe writing my ideas down would help me to flesh them out better, now that you mention it.
>>108874427>low iqMost people don't know who he is. The people who like him are people who have above average levels of self-awareness and can understand that they are being trapped, but not strong enough to break out of it. Ted is really good at mapping out the issues but since his solution never came into fruition we are all waiting for a proper answer.
>>108874939>Yet, his praxis was shockingly low-IQ. To down the global tech infrastructure, he mailed crude bombs to random academics>>108874713See here- this isnt settled yet. Think mcgill -mkultra type network

@108875423>shitwit brand worshipers projecting
>>108874427I don't worship him but I think he recognized real problems which people tend to ignore because our culture worships progress. So I think some of his ideas may be implemented in a less radical way, e.g. not through a complete deindustrialization, but through a new philosophy or a new progress-critical mindset.
>waiting for anons to mention MKULTRA
>>108875278I live in bumfuck nowhere and outside my immediate family most people I interact with are glue eating retards. Have you found much success in this regard?

>Divine punishment I think its because people in tech deal with it the most and slowly realize that he was right. Humans are psychopaths and will only keep things around that directly benefit them. Labor being valuable meant that the majority of the population is worth keeping around and appeasing, but technology keeps reducing the value of labor. Once that value hits zero the elites stop viewing the lower class as valuable peers, but as parasites. That's not good for their quality of life. Preindustrial technology was good enough that the average person could live a decent life. Now we are at the point where the average person can't afford a home or a family.
>ratting your brotherthat nigger should be put to death
>>108874427The version of tech he was against was a joke compared to what's going on now. The influx of money into the tech world, specifically into the software side, in the 2010s and 2020s has created an industry that combines the pure evil of finance and law with the pure autism of STEM and produces instruments of control and domination on a scale that would make most doomer sci fi books from the 70s and 80s look ridiculous back then. It is genuinely the most damaging industry to the collective human psyche ever created.
>>108875288>The people who like him are people who have above average levels of self-awareness and can understand that they are being trappedthe people who like him are retards on the internet who don't even agree with the idea that we should return to a pre-industrial civilization. the entire essay is ridiculous schizobabble but you'll see internet right-wingers talk about how "based" he is because there's a random paragraph where he owns the libtards epic style.
>>108874526Why DIDN'T Stephen Hawking put his massive brain into figuring out a way to walk? Huh?
