Why haven't you made your own chip company yet?According to /g/, it's quite easy. You just need an ASML EUV machine and it'll just print chips for you.
Hah. Nah, I think the machine only exposes the resist. But I'm no expert.
>>108881068China is leading the way because they have spent decades investing trillions in their electric infrastructure. In contrast, Muttshartmericans have directed trillions towards pissrahell, allowing those khazars to create surveillance technology that keeps every shartmerican on their best behavior, as those khazar say.
>>108881162But /g/ kept telling me nobody is buying Chinese chips and China can't even make chips? How are their chip exports growing 300%, with their laptops/tablets growing 50%, and their total exports growing 20%?
>>108881080That machine is the thing that is actually capable of operating on such a smol scale. Everything else is just adding/removing layers of atoms on the surface indiscriminately.
>>108881193yeah don't listen to /g/tards literally every opinion on this board is wrong
>>108881068moores second lawcost of making a sota fab doubles every 4 yearsbut i guess it's possible if you go for older nodesa colleague was talking about a cushy role their friend had; they managed a 24nm fab in the phillipines or smth. iirc there's a lot of fabs opening up in SEAMaybe when asics come out there will be an even bigger boom for older nodes on top of memory demand
>>108881475i saw someone saying that /g/ cant technolo/g/y anymore but it seems to be true. i dont even know why the fuck im still here
>>108881162You mean they spent decades stealing patents from Americans.
>>108881245It's not indiscriminately but in a very controlled manner, so you need quite a lot of different machines in your fab. Then electricity, water, workers. And a chip design. It's a lot of upfront cost and you will still be lagging behind other companies.
>>108881068is nu/g/ really so fucking retarded that not a single one of you can read 7 sentences? china itself exports $500 million/hour across all industries, not just chips.
