Can this small cargo drone cross borders undetected, or at least get away with it? and should I apply off the shelf radar absorbing paint over it?Just curious, nothing else.

What border do you want to cross?I don't think there's any radar absorbing paint you can just buy. Even if there was it probably works for shit. You're advantage would be speed. Get it across the border and your payload delivered to someone waiting quickly. If it's small enough it might not even be noticed (depending on what border you want to cross) and even if it is noticed, if you're remote enough you can get in and get out before anyone could react to catch you.
>>108886570It depends on the border in question. Between two EU nations? Just walk across. If you need to cross the border between best korea and south korea then no, lol

>>108888500>>108888554i concluded this after watching this fag's video one day about lippmann plateshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DyrBDsKA5sdont @me feds knowledge should be free and open not guarded by hook nosed kikes that diddle kids and rob nations
>>108888363From Netherlands to china, and every border between them. No drone has range or comms that far, so I thought I could order 50 of these, land some of them in increasing distances and use them as fuel stops and signal repeaters. More drones would run round trips refueling these remote stations. The main drone would go through all these stops before reaching final destination. I have doubts about the signal reach and the effectiveness of radar absorbing paint.
>>108888554>>108888617Nah, it would have to have features about the width of the wavelength (millimeters to centimeters). If you wanted to make your own at home you probably want a shape like the f-117 with a resistive coating applied and to run simulations to make sure it works.
>>108889527no, that's retarded. You'd be better off buying a boat and launching underwater drones into some harbor in china if you want to smuggle drugs in that badly. Would be cheaper too.
>>108889527You know too little about logistics.Consider: a relay drone needs to fly somewhere, land, and have both enough power to maintain the signal and enough power to refuel the next drone that flies past. If we assume a total battery charge that lasts for 100km your first drone cannot fly 100km and still offer refuel and relaying. If you first drone is at 50km and your second drone there and refuel, your second drone needs to borrow exactly the power that your first drone uses to function as a relay to refuel itself, which let's you park your second drone at 100km with 50km battery left. However, now you have to refuel the 50km drone, which means you have to fly a third drone with 100km charge to the 50km mark, then refuel the 1st drone, to 50km charge, and oh no your 3rd drone now has no fuel to fly anywhere at all, and so on and so forth.Logistics is literally the reason we cannot have nice things unless someone else already built them.
>>108888363>I don't think there's any radar absorbing paint you can just buy.Perhaps. YOu can make it, though.>Even if there was it probably works for shit. You don't realy know, do you? Look up "Iron Ball". It still works.
>>108886570Damn anon there are 80iq latinos in mexico that are smarter than you>off the shelf radar absorbing paintjust buy an off the shelf teleporter, way easier logistics
>>108890125what is wrong with this?
>>108889715>Would be cheaper too.money is no object to me, but ethics are, which is why i prefer drones over putting myself or anyone else at risk
>>108891910could go for some sort of ultra high altitude balloon. China sent one to spy on the US and we didn't even detect it until it was almost out of our airspace. The cartels just underwater weld a drug torpedo to the underside of shipping vessels. The extra drag/weight is negligible to the ship and once in port someone else goes in and retrieves it.
>>108889719Consider this: above drone has 200 km comms range, 500 km fuel range. I land one at 200 km, then assign another one to run ROUND TRIPS to put fuel in its cargo compartment. Another drone can now use this checkpoint and be fully refueled, can be fueled more than its capacity even.
>>108886570Redard here, what's the point of the aero shape with 4 static vertical props?Wouldn't this thing be insanely faster and maneuverable if the props weren't perpendicular to (presumed) flight path/angle of the drone?
>>108892040those are for vertical lift off and i guess they ruin aero but they don't care i guess.
>>108892037ah, the Pony Express but for retarded manchildren.
>>108892037>to put fuel in its cargo compartment.how
>>108892717would have to modify drone obv
>>108893536>would have to modify drone obvnot obv, obv. you can't do aerial refueling so you're turning one drone into a robot that still has enough power on board to move itself over to the other drone, open the fuel tank and fuel it up. and fuel it up. how.you haven't thought any of this through at all.
>>108892037>Consider this: above drone has 200 km comms range,And the ELRS receiver is blasting at 100mw output power (LoRa) to keep this link alive. Never mind radar, this will enable any radio nerd to track your drone. You can, of course, just fly by GPS with no telemetry or control link. But you won't, because what has been described in this thread sounds absolutely retarded and despite being easy, a midwid like yourself won't be able to set up such an operation undetected.
