I just installed Artix. Managed to get audio via the user scripts for pipewire and wireplumber, but every time I load a YT video it throws an error. Reloading the page makes it spin for a while and then work. I tried installing the gst- packages, ffmpeg, and clearing the wireplumber local state folder. Also disabling hardware acceleration in the browser. Any idea what I can do to fix this?

If they have closed sources drivers and do not want to think about it, they do Ubuntu or Mint. If they want freshest shit, they can do Fedora, although it's unstable, you're basically being a free betatester for Red Hat.
There are some specialized distros, mostly for people who build stuff for very niche use cases, for some specialized systems etc, it includes gentoo, famously. Nowadays there's more, I have hear yocto and linux from scratch are something poeple would talk about.
