The engine is still fundamentally fucked as long as the game thread and render thread are tied to a single fucking CPU thread

On release the NPCs and enemies would randomly fucking spawn in something like a 50m radius around the player, and despawn completely if you got far enough away. There's continuity now, and you'll hear firefights off in the distance from enemy groups crossing each others paths. Gunfire seems to attract mutants and nearby groups too, so I've had a few fights escalate into absolutely chaotic 4 way shitfests where it's pissing down with rain, pitch black and you have no idea who you're shooting at. That shit is absolutely kino now.They've also removed the NPC x-ray vision which is nice. The NPCS instead try to 'figure out' where you are, and will mag dump and frag bushes where they think you are. Still not as fleshed out as something like Anomaly/Gamma but very solid nonetheless.If the game had released in the state it's in now I don't think anyone would've complained particularly.
