I'm making a email sync feautre to merge my coperate task list w my personal task list so i don't have to look in 5 different places to know my calandar
i never had to use sharepoint lists as a database, but i gues this is the new MS Access which is what i have the most experience on. Not the most sexy - just the one im most familiar with. when i was in the navy i made a database w Access to generate QA exams
>>108898327seems interesting. I usually just try python scripts or sh scripts on a remote server, but this , if it works, and if it is free looks easy and interesting.
>>108898483its not free which is gay, but its only 7 dollars and i have a job so not a big deal.its fustrating because things will break randomly which i guess is the 'engineering' aprt of Software eng. Just wich my corp would allow guest tenants and i could have have this fixed a week ago
>>1088985417 dollars? python and shell scripts are free. sorry. i am not sold. but it still does look interesting.
>>108898541dam that wasn't so bad - i just got forced to turn on MFA and the flow wasn't configed - so the connection lost credentials. just went into Entra and turned it off.
>>108898546thanks annon. I am not that good with scripts yet and honestly I don't even know where to start to get them to connect to my corp account. its locked down in so many places for security reasons. I'll look into it when i hit a limit with this
What data are you feeding to this "planner"?
>>108898583also MS has this gay problem where it doesn't give you anything intelligible for an error. literally "actionFailed. An Action Failed."
>>108898591my todo list. nothing crazy - its MS planner but since I have tasks across multiple domains (school, work, navy, etc) i want to see them in one place. Doesn't seem possible with existing tools so I've got to make my own dashboard. e.g. I can't just autofoward my corp calandar list to my personal because there's sensitive client info (acording to our net polices) and I can't just share the calandar as the details are blocked out - just blocks of time and no way to know if it was a client meeting or some bullshit office hours thing
>>108898616>>108898573>>108898541>>108898327What the fuck is this garbage? You could even write a bash script doing this in less time than it took you to write that thread.
>>108898664I know rightSounds like you've never worked in gov consulting which is understandable - niche field. Basiclly I wish you could have a talk with our CTO who basically gimped our ability to script in order to protect client data. The only way to get data out of my org seems to be email. I can't even get on sites remotley resembling cloud storage ( notion, asana, etc) without triggering a flag on my accountit feels truly insane to powerautomate emails into a sharepoint list as a database to pull into MS Planner but here we are
>>108898738kill yourself, zogbot
alright it looks like I'm noe able to print the remails to ansharepoint list, and next step after verifying that works is to reference that as a synching mechanism back to the corporate tenant. that makes it bidirectional>>108898793we are all cattle, who cares
>>108898811now that I look at it - this should be a default in programing classes - its like scratch but for adults
nice ive got almost all my pillars synced. somehow I missed my persoanl taskts so adding that now.>>108898664should I automate my posts with AI too so I can write them faster? Have you contributed anything to this board in the past 25 years? anything? stoopid niggerfaggot
power automate is awful, I use it at my work place and it so unweildy especially when the workflow becomes largethe logic/syntax is terrible to work with as well. Creating arrays or lists are a major pain and require a PHD
>>108898933i mean i made a list and im literally in the last semester of my associates.im exccited to get to the next rev of this - im just teaching myself programming with this. power automate is like bolton's for a carapis i gues would be more like real ecu tuning and performance engineering
