Call me when the loli and shota versions are ready.

I can make myself a sandwich.

>>108904365Normies lit. sell hardcopies of that game all across the world, it's not a problem.
>>108904375I think the bigger issue would be is that they can see fuck all through eye slits lol, even putatively totally functional human beings need a carer to walk them around with that gear.
>>108903217>tfw you will never own a robowaifuhttps://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iUOHOtbIWhg&ra=m
>>108904459The camera wouldn't need to be on the robot itself. It could "see" wirelessly from a cameras/lidar elsewhere on the room. Maybe this wouldn't work "out of the box" with a commercial model such as OP, but is a valid solution for robots that shouldn't leave the room.

>>108903217what does it do though
>>108904596Sure, but we were supposedly talking about an actual product so the fact that it 99% certain has no detachable sensors and is designed to make it hard to mod makes it a moot point.

I didn't even watch whatever vid OP linked, oh wait, that faggot didin't.>an actual product so the fact that it 99% certain has no detachable sensorsYeah, hence I said it probably wouldn't work on this specific model (or current gen models in general), but conceptually, there's no reason why even a factory robot needs to see only thru it's head and not from security cameras.>and is designed to make it hard to mod makes it a moot point.Yeah, that's kikery. Fuck that. Today we can vibehack into shit, I imagine in a few years, it will be even easier (assuming you can keep the illegal infrastructure necessary for vibe DRM circumvention, which is a different battle altogether than robowaifus).
>>108904760I basically agree, and shops like AliExpress have also done some work putting "pro" tools in the hands of hobbyists and small tradespeople at a much more reasonable cost. It's better to have stuff that is basically correct OOTB so personally I'm waiting this one out. Roombas work for the kinda house I have, that's my robot for now.
>>108904611>american robotsthey do jack shit
>>108903217Horrible legs, absolutely disgusting. I admire that they made skinny and feminine robot for once but what’s the point when her legs are so malformed.
>>108905463Yes. Waiting is the correct move right now. Whoever wants to live on the bleeding edge has nobody but themselves to blame when oops, robowaifu severed yer dick. But I do think kigu is the overlooked obvious solution to the presentation problem. Custom kigu pads can make all sorts of robots look more humane. But for obvious reason kigubots will remain very niche.

I watched the video and it looks like shit. For a moment there it really looked like they might be able to compete with the US in robotics.

>>108911397there's still a "library" thread on /x/ and both library threads and archiving threads have always glowed brighter than the sun.
I regularly see datamining threads on the chans too fwiw, there's not just the archive ops.

>>108912233What are they giving back, what's good about giving randos a copy of your entire archives? It's just like "freedom of speech" as promoted by a government and just like "free speech forums"; a trap to get people to blow their mouths off.Not saying that they're all necessarily focused on that primarily (or I wouldn't post here), but it IS a setup for collecting intelligence by design, from the ground up. Not considering that when making a public platform is being a useful idiot.E.g. a more real "free speech" chan, with a more balanced approach, would have "anon pools" who host their own data and don't share it except by invite. Unlike e.g. lobste.rs, where posting is invite-only but everyone can slurp up the data.
>>108903217Is this going to be the future?
>>108912281Archiving and sharing stuff related to that does go against privacy, but it's still a worthwhile activity and there's lots to be done and lots to be said about it. (Whether on a small scale or large scale.)Yes public platforms can act as honeypots to gain info on "dissidents". Their speech is used against them to build profiles on the individual people and so on. I've heard that sites like 4chan are glowie daycare facilities. Another instance of people doing useless jobs as part of the surveillance state (glowies are parasites who steal tax dollars).
>>108912389There's no "but", the platforms I mentioned are designed as honeypots. It's intrinsic to the form of social organization they promote, sponsor and enable technologically. There's no dodging this fact, so ig that triggered you to do damage control by bagatellizing the issue while aping me and bringing inane memes to the table. You gotta do better than that to fool me, you fucking retard!
>>108912490>igignore>bagatellize(transitive, rare) To regard as a bagatelle; to play down, trivialize or belittle. Our values differ. I care more about archiving, you care more about privacy. I care not to convince you into something. No I'm not mimicking you.
>>108912578Rather, "convince you of something"On the topic of archiving, anyone want a torrent of 1,105,578 full images from 4chan? >>108908375>Illegal in the USA:>https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creeper>CREEPER (Curbing Realistic Exploitative Electronic Pedophilic Robots), a US Act about sex robotsWhy do they pass dumb shit like this but when a bill comes up that would ban child marriage in a state that has it, they vote it down every time?
>>108915129Approved by The House, but not The Senate?>thehill.com/homenews/house/392357-house-approves-ban-on-sex-dolls-that-resemble-children/>The House approved a measure this week that would ban the importation of sex dolls & robots that resemble children.>Rep. Dan Donovan's [Creeper Act] passed by a voice vote [...] It now heads to the Senate for consideration.>The bill blocks the importation & transportation of anatomically correct childlike dolls, mannequins or robots "intended for use in sexual acts.">The figures are shipped from China, Hong Kong & Japan,[...]often purchased online by pedophiles[...]>"Once an abuser tires of practicing on a doll, it's a small step to move on to a child," Donovan said. "My bill takes necessary steps to stop these sickening dolls from reaching our communities.">The bill says the dolls "normalize submissiveness & normalize sex between adults & minors.">"Child sex dolls are anatomically accurate renderings of young children, & include accessories like false eyelashes, wigs, warming devices, & cleaning tools," according to the statement.>House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte[...:] the concept of the childlike sex dolls makes his stomach turn.>"These dolls can be programmed to simulate rape," Goodlatte said. "The very thought makes me nauseous.">[...]social scientists argue that child sex dolls may reduce pedophilia & child sexual abuse but there is no scientific evidence to prove that.>"To the contrary, these dolls create a real risk of reinforcing pedophilic behavior & they desensitize the user causing him to engage in sicker and sicker behavior," Goodlatte said.>The United Kingdom has a similar law to the one proposed by Donovan.>"In fact, of the 128 dolls seized in the UK, 85% percent of the men who imported them were also found in possession of child pornography," according to a statement from Donovan's office.also: narsol.org/2018/01/creeper-act-would-turn-law-abiding-americans-into-sex-offenders/
cont>concept of a child sex doll disgusts most ordinary people. [...] unsurprising that experts believe these dolls are being purchased not by ordinary people but by pedophiles; those whose sexual attraction to prepubescent children is anything but ordinary[...]it is not illegal to be a pedophile just as it is not illegal to have other disgusting thoughts—unless you act on those thoughts by breaking the law>This is just as well, because if it was illegal simply to be a pedophile, that would mean criminalizing up to 8 million Americans, which would more than double the existing population of felons. Since experts believe that pedophiles don't choose to be attracted to children, it also seems unfair to criminalize them for what may be an unwanted condition, especially since most of them never go on to abuse a child>While CREEPER would not make all pedophiles into instant sex offenders, it would do so for purchasers of child sex dolls. One of the justifications that its proponent gives for the Bill is the claim that 85% of those found with sex dolls in the United Kingdom also had possession of illegal child pornography [fictional or nonfictional in UK]>But that means that 15% of them didn't, and that we would be criminalizing them for possession of what is, essentially, a masturbation aid. And since when is possession of something that is merely correlated with illegal activity separately punishable? Even though there is a correlation between those who purchase miniature ziplock bags and those who sell drugs, the possession of ziplock bags is not illegal; nor should it be.>In fact, the use of child sex dolls by pedophiles may actually reduce sex offending. The current scientific consensus is that pedophila is a lifelong condition that cannot be cured, but can be managed in ways that don't harm children. For some pedophiles, sex dolls may be one such harmless outlet.>[...]>Jeremy Malcolm is the Senior Global Policy Analyst for the Electronic Frontier Foundation

You just turn off the light off you go, no difference. Also it's not the "oh it's the same" part that makes it dangerous. It's the part where it is literally better than a real thing, at least in some isolated aspects. I don't know much about it, but you just go to /jp/ or something and ask around, anons will explain to you what modern masturbation devices can do to a man.
