to me, that shit is like people who spend money on onlyfans whores. as in, it's clearly a huge industry and is all i ever hear about, but i literally don't know anyone who does it.
About $3 or more a day and I have used that to fix the existing issues with notepadqq and parole, which I have also made function well like mpc-hc and eliminating the lag and other issues and made it so it can play 4k videos, with segmentation faults and crashing issues (especially in regards to parole's infamous playlist bug) being totally removed.I have also used it to make my own calculator so I do not have to worry about that dependency security issue occurring again like before.Another program I have made is an image viewer which is quicker, faster and more fully featured than the existing gnome image viewer.I have done remarkably well considering the token budget of $20-$100 per month, and that is how it has always matter to me, how it matters to me and how it will always matter to me.
I am currently in the process of using a computer to finish up the current development build (from github) of VLC to be in a release state, and so far it is going rather well, with good progress being made (in more ways than one) and on track to be under what I had provisioned for.
I have managed to fix the issue in vlc whereby it would say it was going to resume, but depending on if you quit it a certain way (as it not pausing before exiting the program) it would not save the progress of the file being played and now it does.
Another thing i managed to get done is to fix the x11 compositor to the input focus is managed correctly, so that when I have vlc running over a wine application (world of warcraft in this case) scrolling the cursor of the application over (or rather under in this case) the vlc application the bottom bar containing the play button does not show up.

it's like having a private release version of vlc 4.0 all finished, the only thing being a design choice which appears to be the window resizing itself upon exit and loading to make sure the 1st video tile below continue watching is displayed.
looks like that can even be fixed easy enough as well, says whats doing it, explains why it's doing it when then says where the fix can be done and gives options on how to fix it, it really is wonderful.
that was fixed as well so that vlc properly saves the window geometry and even the playqueue/playlist does not resize the window like it used to.

I made a tool that syncs your nom steam game saves via web dav to a cloud server of your choosing. I use it to sync saves between bazzite, windows, and a steam deck. It also syncs game art so you only have to set up the art once. It's very similar to how emudeck's cloud saves work but works for PC games with arbitrary save locations.
