don't care, still using firefox.

Wow, epic!

Made by a literal random that will dip once he's satisfied with enough donations from retarded people.

>All parts of the Helium browser are open source, including online services. You can self-host Helium services and use your own instance in your browser.

Cool.

Wake me up when Ladybird (an actual new browser) is ready.

its chrome?

Everything is Chrome in the future.

I'm just waiting for Brave Origin. I hope it will be available on Flathub.
>>
>>108910251
brave origin is two browsers.
one version of brave origin is just normal brave with settings that make it origin. normal brave is already there.

No I don't need it
>>
>>108910337
Waste of space. Not every program needs a menu bar and that oversized dock at the bottom is ugly.
>>
>>108910370
what do you need the menu bar in a browser for?
>>
>>108909883

>>108910337
I can enable a MacOS-style global menu bar on Plasma, but the thing is that I only want menubars on the windows themselves.

you fireslop shills are pathetic. Chromium is proven to perform much better and is much faster than garbage gecko engine. Only retards are still using fireslop

Accessing my history or settings without having to go through 5 different dropdown menus to get there

I don't trust some random with my computer and all of my online accounts.

Let me guess, chromium with a new skin?
>>
>>108909913
Making a browser from scratch is a bitch and a half since the internet is all standardized around google's web services bullshit.
>>
Just stick with vanilla Chrome. Google has telemetry from billions of installs optimizing the experience.
>>
>>108909883
I switched to it from Brave a few weeks back, its nice thats its faster but I have been having a few issues I've had to work through here and there.
It lacked some fonts and it took a while to figure out where to put them on my system so it could see them (I had the fonts on my system other things were using them, so appimages might just be fucked up for me personally)

Still it loads pages very quickly and doesn't hang as slow down as often as Brave does so thats a big plus, it currently lives up to its marketing of being fast and light.

If I’m gonna use a chromium browser that rips out some google telemetry, I’m not sure why I wouldn’t just pick the shill lion

genuine question, what is the best no nonsense chromium browser especially on linux?
Yes I already have firefox as my main browser right now but I'm still curious of chromium options out there.

The interface is tiny, why can't it scale on monitors.

Ungooogled-Chromium, but it doesn't have ECH and SNI snooping is a problem.

Did you try? On my system it only works with konsole and dolphin. Not a single 3rd party package supports it.
>>
helium more like methane
>>
I've been using it as a second browser but I don't know about using randomware as a browser. Brave is hard to beat desu
>>
It's constantly deleting my cookies
>>
>>108909883
Chrome, FireFox, Safari. Those are the 3 main browsers. It's like Linux Distros, there are Forks... if you want a TRUE new browser engine:
>Ladybird
>Servo
otherwise just stick with fucking FireFox.

wrong. on every single sentence. quite a feat.

Why not use chrominium but then use kac?
>>
>>108911501
No need to have a meltdown over factual statements, you can use whatever you want at the end of the day, even if it's inferior.

>>108918534
Seems like all browsers are getting that retarded padding added in.
