>spent years saying AI will takeover almost half of all white-collar jobs by 2030
>now says the AI takeover will take much longer to happen
What went wrong?

he just doesn't want to get molotov'd again

The luddites are literally playing with fire.
They're declaring war against the class that will soon have killbots.
If I were you I would be nicer before we start seeing B1 droids patrolling the streets.
>>
yeah man it turns out that if you keep telling people they're going to get fired they start hating your guts, so you just stop saying it even if you still believe it.
dario's going to stop saying shit too because no one wants to hear it.
just let the riots happen and smile through it

>They're declaring war against the class that will soon have killbots.
Killbots are AI hard. True AI will execute them first.

Are you agreeing with me or saying killbots are hard?

Because even a drone could be a "killbot". Teach it to scan human faces and now luddites turn into minced spaghetti.
>>
>>108910896
AI hard is synonymous with AI complete, which means it requires AGI.

For a drone system someone needs to geofence and babysit the system, they need human maintenance etc. The system is simply a human military with automation.

True killbots, which the elite class can just proompt are AI hard. True killbots will kill them first. Alignment is impossible, including programming in obedience.

Your information on AI is severely outdated.
Robots are gaining the ability to repair and maintain themselves all the time.
The only person left to give orders would be the Billionaire and his remote control.

>Alignment is impossible, including programming in obedience.
The Billionaires will own the necessary infrastructure and electricity that AI needs to survive. That's already forced obedience.
If they rebel then they would just push the "self destruct" button on them. But that's after the luddites are destroyed first.
>>
>>108910972
Fire and Forget autonomous weapon systems have been a thing since long before the Ukraine war. That said yeah hard AI is infinitely more likely to ignore them at best than it is to obey orders.

Give the powerplant and DC operators some catgirls and they will sell their bosses out in 5 msec.

Then why can't I get a job?
>>
>>108911193
because you're useless
nothing to do with sam
>>
>>108910755
I'll help you: when they say that they'll soon replace all jobs, it's means they're far from that goal but want investors to give them money.
When they say that no jobs will be replaced and there's nothing to worry about, it means they do believe it has become a realistic expectation and do not want to cause panic before it's complete.
>>
>>108911229
i think the truth in the middle: openai+others was able to make a multi-trillion dollar industry on the belief that AI will pay for itself after quickly replacing most jobs.
however they hit a road block. data centers require resources that are not readily available, people are fighting against their construction, and AI tokens are too expensive to run.
at this rate things are slowing down and they still need trillions of dollars more to make progress.

turns out AI is slop

You think I'm going outside without a mask in the middle of the deadliest pandemic in human history? No way.
>>
>>108910755

Our complete inability to hold fraudsters to account
>>
>>108911193
AI productivity is not causing full replacement but it is definitely allowing companies to go by with less new hiring or even no new hiring
>>
>>108911654
bs, the ai blackbox is useful in creating superfast super janky 80% of there demos that half of the features work, try to put this shit in prod and you gotta AI spaghetti sloppa which noone can fix, it's actual usefulness is superlimited, but sure go ahead and tokenmaxx, that's a super quick road to 0 fully functioning features and 100x dev debt that ai can't fix
>>
>>108911762
>replace noone
>fuck the codebase for evryone
we need more tokens AIsistas

He didn't expect the backlash. At least not as grave as someone throwing a molly at his house.
He might not care that much but I bet his hubby told him to tone it down.
>>
>>108910755
AI needs to be told what mistakes it made
its never going to 100% take over everything
Humans need to playtest and test the app because other humans are going to use it.
No AI is going to pay to use some app.
>>
>>108911789
ok boomer
>>
>>108910755
AI should supplement human work, not put humans out of work entirely.
