3.5mm jacks are great.Keeps quality headphones cheap and uses less battery power than transmitting an additional signal. Why would you prefer an additional wireless device that cannot get wet, has a battery you must charge and keep track of the charge level that degrades keeping less and less charge and eventually the speaker and mic degrades over time and must be replaced anyways, just for much more.Oh and is one more valuable thing to be stolen.And is not compatible with every legacy device that has a 3.5mm jack. I can plug pc headphones in, use male to male for stereo, pc, cars, and not use an interceptable hackable or trackable signal. The transfer between devices through 3.5mm is also pure anolog no risk from attaching your phone to something that can pass on malware or viruses. Connecting via bluetooth is a data connection with all the accompanying security risks.
