I have one, it’s a good laptop that does what I need it to do. The battery life is fantastic, the screen is nice and it runs my software. I really do not need more than that. Is it a good gaming laptop? No. Is it a powerful laptop? No. But for the price it’s solid. It’s not trying to compete with Microsoft, it’s just filling a niche that has been left vacant for a very long time. The budget laptop market has been fucking horrendous for years now so a low cost laptop coming out with decent build quality running an OS that wasn’t programmed by chimps is a big deal. For reference, I would NOT recommend a MacBook Neo over something like a framework laptop or a good used laptop, if you can save the money then save it. In my specific use case it is perfect, I use Apples software for my work so being able to do that without spending a bunch of money on a laptop I barely use is great.
