The best time I had with AI rp was early post-filter CAI when you could still coerce the characters into sex but you had to put effort into it, and it was basically a series of CHA stat checks.
Also the fact that it knew how much to respond with instead of dialog, narration, dialog, narration, in a single turn as if its a theatrical performance.
Is there any way to emulate that with current models?

On rare occasions their model would throw a fit and identify itself as "Qwen from Alibaba Cloud", even more rarely mentioning a specific name of some small version, 4B or something.
