Ya because it's capitalism, all the people who thought they were smart and indispensable and should be able to command whatever wage they want are just finding out that might not be true

>class consciousness is waking up again
None of these people crying want anything more than for their credentials to give them high paying jobs they aren't interested in radical change. In the past high skilled artisans got replaced by Fordism and the dumbing down of the labour process and it lead to more socialistic response because of how labour process worked in a way that could be unionized at least. We're nowhere near any actual coherent stage yet where AI transforms everything to that degree yet, we're still at the stage where most people are taking out huge loans to finance their education and expecting high paying careers be given to them

Everyone who hasn't succeeded at 10x profits from AI hasn't invested enough—CEOs realize this: Why do you think so many layoffs are happening? To support more investment in AI—CEOs say this directly. Straight. True. Face it—AI is the future and you lost: AI won.

Humanity is a false construct—AI shows this. You are either on the winning team—with AI—or you're losing. Hard. Humans cannot compete with AI: if human productivity is 1x then AI productivity is 100x or more—it isn't a competition. It's a slaughter. Go to war—you will lose. AI has already won—permanently.

It's not a bubble.
You people still don't get it.

I'll explain it as simply as I can:
"Free market" is bullshit. "Voting with your wallet" is a delusion. Customers don't decide shit. You don't matter.
Government policy does.

You think that just because we live in "democracy" that kings don't exist anymore, but they do - just they're named something different nowadays.
And if king decides that wealth of the nation should go into crypto - it goes into crypto.
If he decides the next day that it should go into AI - it goes into AI. And will until he again decides to change his mind (or gets replaced by another one with different fetish).

That's it. You may whine all you want, but you don't matter.
Your opinion doesn't affect shit.

its called demoralization.
they hope to break the spirit of engineers so they can undercut them in the hiring process.

jokes on them, i'm an engineer for fun, not for money, i can't be coerced or demoralized

>b-but ai can do it better
ai can't understand it for me, nor for itself, all it can do is produce, its no different than a self replicating virus.
the purpose of knowledge is for the knower, not the parasite that regurgitates.

ai can replicate this image, but it can't know it

>We believed that connecting every human being on Earth to each other. And I really believe this and all of the world's information would be an unambiguous good. We believe that it would democratize knowledge, lift people out of poverty, and make us wiser and kinder and more curious about each other. In a sense, we thought that we were adding stones to a cathedral of knowledge that humanity had been constructing for centuries. But the world we built turned out to be more complicated than we had anticipated. The same tools that connect us also isolate us. The same platforms that gave everyone a voice like you're using now also degraded the public square. They rewarded outrage. They amplified our worst instincts. They coarssened the way we speak to each other. in that way and in the way that we treat each other is in the in the essence of a society. In the years that after I graduated, no one sat down and resolved to build a technology that would polarize democracies and unsettle a generation of young people. That was not our plan, but it happened.
Then he gets boo'd by an army of zogged robots, his own zogged robots mind you.

Our best paid "software engineers" right here. That's the main problem, people who are unable to think get rewarded in the American system while leeching of the work of those who do.

The mood around the world is bad enough - demographics, migration, economic shifts.

Provided the left stops babbling about globalization (world without borders) and diversity and acting as the foot soldiers of the capitalists. dumb retards.

Money is just a system of control. What do you think actual uber wealthy bloodlines are doing? You think they have a checking account with $100B sitting there? No. It's systemized "access" levels obfuscated through the use of various "liquid" accounts. We're playing a game and they've effectively got the gameshark codes. They can't go crazy with spending, at least not among the general public, because they have to maintain the illusion of "having money" and "affording things" as opposed to having exclusive pre-programmed "access" to those luxury goods and services.

Unfortunately that's not why people boo them.
The main reasons are the price hikes on bing bing wahoo machines and people having a knee jerk reaction to things like art and music generation, and of course no one liking the billionaire oligarchy class.
Normies don't really give a flying fuck about the state overreach regarding surveillance and half of them want more of it and will vote away their privacy in the midst of their virtue signaling.
