if you have a very good amount of circumstancial evidence that a person you live with has a hidden microphone in your place of living, is there any feasible way to detect it physically or is it just pointless to try?

someone else who lives with me is the one who noticed it in the first place, and the behavior of the person "probably" doing it is very much supporting the possibility.

Rf detectors, and rule out devices. Thats if you think the mic is remotely being used wirelessly. Your best solution is buying a signal jammer and running it at all times.

thanks. aren't signal jammers illegal though, or is that cell phone jammers

Yes!

So dont get caught. Test and use a safe power range to minimze effects outside your property. Hide while running it.

Just blast loud music non stop and pretend you're practicing to learn music theory or join a band
