Where tf is it?
If manufacturers are serious, they should have put this everywhere by now.

it's literally named SCAMM. why are the goyim so dumb?
>>
regular ram is hard enough to come by
>>

It's shit. Slower than soldered with little advantage over SODIMM.

SOCAMM2 is designed for precise matching between IC's and pin out so it adds very little loading and trace length, that's how it should be done.

SECAM, a video standard

you know they spit on americans in jerusalem?

We'll have to wait for the memory crisis to end for CAMM to start superseding DIMM, that and also DDR6 so that there's a proper incentive for better modules. We might see some updates on what the industry's cooking next week at Computex though, so worth keeping an eye on the news.

It's not "literally" called SCAMM you illiterate retard.
>>
>>108942702
you you precious ultra expensive DDR SIPs whose value seems to be increasing every month. do you put them on a DIMM\SODIMM board where its compatible with like 95%+ of customers that want to put it in their machines or do you put those SIPs on a LPCAMM2 module where like 0.001% of the memory market is?

its very obvious why adopting new standards slows down to a crawl when there's massive price inflation across the pc hardware space

Why do you think they're going to make a giant market shift to a new form factor now? They don't even have regular low binned ddr memory to sell you.
>>
>>108944478
yes it is. it's literally called SCAMM.
just like you are literally called RETARDD
>>
>>108942702
Why replace a single stick of RAM, when you can make the customer buy the entire kit again
>>
unsure if it delivers what was promised, j2c had to downclock those new memory modules overtime to have a stable system

This post, the only post answering OP.

Lenovo exclusive with crucial right now. Can't buy crucial direct anymore b2b only. Samsung hasn't released theirs.
>>
>>108942702
My new work laptop has it, its a Dell Latitude lol. It's making its way in slowly, and has been greatly hindered by the "RAM CRISIS!!!"
>>
>>108942702
I mean, why would they implement this in 2026? they don't give a fuck anymore about RAM, they only want to extract more and more money from customers, so why spend money on something new?
might happen after we start seeing chinese memory, prices fall, and CEOs heads start rolling.
