>>108943798Yep I have only 8 apps on my homescreen now after ditching google for Proton Drive Duo with the wife and FOSS gallery app. Every other app is mapped to the long press for the first letter of the app, for example E opens ebay. I also have some set to long press and speed dial my favorites. I'm not sure enough people realize just how satisfying it is to type out a text to somebody, press the ENTER key and it sends, or using CTRL C CTRL V. Keyboards are superior.This is the current homescreen layout.

These cut-and-paste jobs where they take existing chink components and print a case aren't going to do the job. You need imagination and vision to move the needle. You will also need killer software. In theory none of this is difficult to do but in practice our society is so corrupt that the people with the ability to pull it off will never get access to the cash or markets necessary to succeed.

>>108943872For me the hotkeys to launch apps is the best part. I have T mapped to opening a new tab in firefox. I just unlock the phone, press one button and it launches firefox and opens a new tab. Incredible. Unfortunately Android is gay as fuck and control+A to select all text doesn't work.

I only ever plug it in when I'm driving (about 5 hours a week) and it's enough to always keep a charge. Obviously you might use your phone more and need to charge it more frequently but I'm just saying the battery life has been great for me.

>>108946666Keep in mind I'm on the Titan 2 not the elite but yes the screen is perfectly sized. I only use Organic Maps but there's two custom buttons on the left side, by default it opens up the app switch or whatever that's called. It's not a perfect device though. Speaker quality is DOGSHIT as is the vibration motor. Overall though I don't care, this device meets my needs unlike any other.
