What window manager does everyone use?

Cinnamon
autismwm (awesome)
>>108948365>What window manager does everyone use?GNOME, the default Linux Desktop. Stable, predictable, Enterprise Support, Crash Immunity, clean C code base, GTK/Libadwaita is targeted by every dev on the planet.Yep, GNOME.
>>108948365>XFCELXDE is best.
cwm (calm window manager) for low cortisol individuals
>>108948365explorer.exe

>>108948528>crash immunity mfers when a single malloc of some unnecessary dogshit results in the process being terminatedI mean it works fine, 99% of the time, the only problem I really have is that my File Manager crashes, nothing fatal, but I have to reopen it again. But this isn't exclusive to GNOME, I also had this on Windows and KDE Plasma, I don't know what's going on there. But other than that, it's a joy to use. It just werks. GNOME doesn't even mind deleting ~/.cache. I did this on KDE Plasma a couple times and it would always result in a crash. I know... I know ebussy and GuhNOME is a meme on /g/, but it werks man.
>>108948365LXDE.
>>108948440Dude cmon you can literally just download the lua version of the example config and seeing your laziness you probably just need to change your monitors output for it to work. If you added custom binds and other stuff I think there's a tool to automatically rewrite the config
>>108948578yeah i've never used software that crashes as much as explorer.exe, it's impressive how they did that. dunno about kde.
>>108948440>had hyprland installed with tiling too but they switched to lua configs and i cba to update iti cope by telling myself that it's their last big breaking change and that i won't have to worry about breakage again. still really annoying how the dev can't seem to make his mind up when it comes to basically anything regarding his project
>>108948613i barely used it anyway i just set it up to compare mangowm vs niri vs hyprland i do have a low tolerance for breaking/hassle-causing changes especially if the alternatives are very good and already installed.>>108948634its honestly pretty good , hyprland has a strong ecosystem of shit that works together like authentication agents,launcher,idle,wallpapers....when i upgrade my laptop i might just put hyprland on it instead of niri. i mainly like that its popular/big compared to any window manager so i think its unlikely to disappear if i plan on using it for many years

KDE, I know I'm going to get (You)'d at by that one jeet but I think in its current state it's the closest we got to perfect UX in the history of LinuxI used Xfce and Openbox for a long time and couldn't stand either KDE or GNOME but nowadays it's fucking GOOD

Is hyprland le good? Lua sounds kinda gay to me and I don't care about graphics or ricing. Currently I use i3.
