I don't usually ask for help but I'm in kind of a rut. You see, Discourse, a forum software, decided that it's too good for old OS and decided that any browser that can not render a color with right tones are not eligible to demand or benefit from their services unless they upgrade the browser. I can not upgrade my browser because my OS is ancient at this point thus I'm virtually unable to use Discourse based forums beside my smart phone.I use Windows 8.1 Pro, and willing to keep it that way for foreseeable future. Is there any way around this? I'm clueless but can I envelope a browser application with, say Electron or Tauri and bypass this bullshit? Is it possible? Any help?Pic unrelated.
>>108949283make live distribution of linux on a flashdrive, boot from it, use the newest browser to visit that website... after you finish visiting, you restart the computer back into your ancient OS

isn't there a chromium port for older windowses? supermium or something
You could try to either find or make a browser extension which injects every webpage full of polyfills. Or just stop using ancient shit.
