who actually uses these buttons as back/forward page in the browser? it's been the default configuration for decades at this point but that shit never felt right to methe millisecond you might save by just not clicking on the browser button is not worth the annoyance of accidently pressing one of these buttons and these are not time sensitive actions anywaythank you for reading this very important rant, had to finally get it off my chest
>>108950145>who actually uses these buttons as back/forward page in the browser?me
>>108950145I do, or I did before my logishit mouse disintegrated. In Firefox if text is highlighted the right click menu doesn't by default show a "back" button so I got used to using the dedicated mouse button. I used to use the right click menu because it's easier than moving to the back button in the menu bar. Also I think the mouse back button works on hover without changing the active window, like scroll does, but my logishit mouse has been disintegrated for so long I can't be sure I remember correctly. Hope your chest feels better.
>>108950145I do use them as back/forward in browsers. There's no forward button in browsers anymore, so that's the only way to do that quickly.
>>108950145me.>>108950184yes there is dude and everywhere except Edge it's turned on by default, even on Edge, it's trivial to turn on.
>>108950145I use them as middle click (comfier than pressing down the wheel) and Ctrl. Makes most productivity apps far easier to use.
>>108950145i use them and miss them when they aren't there. now all we need is another set that scrolls through tabs the same way.

>>108950145I use them literally all the time to go back/forward in the browser, in windows explorer, and I usually map the back button to a dodge action in games (which was something I started doing since I played nier automata since there was no convenient keyboard key for that, and dodging is essential to play the game properly)
