why did people stop using the ball mouse?
>>108952163They didn't. It's always been a niche product and has its place still.
>>108952163I stopped because it don't like cleaning the trackball every week or so (my hands aren't even that nasty, i just work in a typical office)
i'm using this now
>>108952163ii wanna try one
>>108952163because no one started using them.
>>108952163i'm using one right now
The best deadlock player uses a trackball mouse: https://youtu.be/Zd4jX56BBHQ
>>108952163I still use one. Probably because they're relatively expensive compared to basic mice, which are fine for most people.
>>108952163I still use itThe blade type ones are inferior to the ergonomic mice. Some people hate thumb balls, I love em. I want one higher quality than my logitech but apparently it's the best of the best.
>>108952163I used Logitech ones for a while but their quality is so shit now that they just don't last long enough to justify the cost
Quality went downhill. All the good balls are now made by companies nobody has ever heard of, so it became a gay enthusiast market with gay enthusiast prices.
I use pic related but it's far less precise than a trackpad or a regular mouse. i kinda regret buying one desu
>>108955797Trackball is comparable a controller's analog stick range of motion unless you really want wear down the joints in your thumb and wrist and use low sensitivity.Ergonomics wise trackballs are even more harmful than mice because trackball devices are locking your wrist in place and so on...Your thumb is very prone to rsi and even worse.
