No fuck no, if there's one good thing vscode brought to this world is the end of the IDE insanity which abstracted how files were laid out in a project

Because Kate is good enough.
And if you want a fully fledged bloat IDE, there is QtCreator, which has nice debugging tools and is great if you want your Qt software to also run on Windows.

KDevelop sits somewhere in the middle, and there isn't much audience there.

Because it's not visual studio 2024, and troonix devs prefer to use vim/nano to code. (or even VSCode if they are jeet)
