Is there really no seamless, universally compatible, actually functional Air Tag equivalent for Android? Do Appletards win again?
>>
Aren't AirTags needed primarily for the purpose of putting them into gifts that you send to VTubers?
>>

The reason Airtags work as well as they do is Every iPhone supports it.

Samsung has their Smarttags, but only Samsung phones are going to support it. No Motorolas, Pixels, TCLs, Xperias, etc.

Incorrect, Google has their finding things network as well.

Smart Tag 2 is good if you have a samsung phone. It has location history (it updates it when it runs into samsung devices that are within its range), 2x the battery life and 3x the bluetooth range compared to Air Tag but Air Tag still mogs if you want to find out where the bike a nig stole from you is currently, especially in the US because apple devices have the tracking network option on by default and most normal users never turn it off.

There is, they're $5 or so on aliexpress. I use both jeetgle and gayphone tags.
Apple network does work better but not because of hardware/software but "political" decision.
There are now even chink multimode tags that work on both networks tho not at the same time.

>Do Appletards win again?
we always win
>>
>>108956326
the kind of winning a sissy gets, Appletards always lose their dignity, privacy and money

>Do Appletards win again
yes
again

It's so fucking weird to see this product being sold by Apple. It kinda is out of character since it's quite niche. I have yet to see a "normal" person use this instead of someone who wants to sniff out someone's location by tagging the car under the bumper.

airport luggage and bags containing sensitive stuff that you have a chance of losing
>>
>>108958304

you think the nog that steals your luggage is going to care that there's sensitive data ?
>>
>>108958454
Potentially yeah, the idea of using a tag in say, your work suitcase is to recover it if you misplaced it somewhere
>>
Should be doable using a cell radio. You don't even need GPS for an approximate location. But it would be more expensive.
>>
>>108958454
No. They just want to steal stuff in hopes of striking gold.
But you find out your bag with the CP filled HD gets stolen, wouldn't you want to recover it asap?
>>
>>108954600
>Android
>seamless
Android is Linux on your phone, with all that implies
>>
>>108960239
Stealing luggage is extremely low reward even if it's easy to get away with, the most you're going to get is a bunch of clothes that don't fit you.
>>
>>108954727
Both googles and samsungs solutions are shit as you need to explicitly activate it yourself. Googles is doubly useless as it won't work in rural areas where there is less devices due to 'privacy". I have tested boths lost mode, and in a rural city of around 2000 people, they would not even once get updated by anyone else's device over the course of a week. Apples devices on the other hand get multiple pings within the hour of making them lost.
>>
>>108960457
niggers are not smart enough to understand this, you have no theory of the mind.
>>
>>108954622
>>108954844
THIS is what applefreaks are using the airtags for?????
>>
Airtags are great if you live in a culturally enriched place like berlin, I had my bike stolen 3 times by shitskins over the last ~4 years and managed to recover it every single time by finding it with the airtag
>>
>"sorry man I did my beat but I can’t find your luggage"
>I say to the fag that airtag says its literally 10 meters away from us right now
>dude sighs and brings it out if the room right behind him, giving it to me without a word
Moroccans are so fucking shameless about being thieves it’s unbelievable
>>
>>108955313
>if you have a samsung phone
Wrong, can be spoofed, I run them on my xperia
It will still only be tracked by other samsung phones though
>>
I got Xiaomi Tags recently and they seem to work fine but I haven't tested them much in random locations yet.

>a rural city of around 2000 people
According to the official United Nations definitions, a "city" has 50,000 people and a "town" has 5,000 people. You are looking for the word "village".
