Honestly, why do these meme codecs even exist? Are normal audio decoders just too complex for the rice grain sized garbage they put in ear pods?

I don't think it supports anything through bluetooth that isn't high on latency
I've used the older magic trackpad, my keyboard, a gamepad, my mouse, all through bluetooth and they operate worse than they do on a PC (sure the trackpad is fully supported, but there's more latency).

Bluetooth Audio in general is one big meme. You get different audio experience across Windows, Mac, and Android. They all never sound the same.

its lossy but im not poor

Meanwhile Windows doesn't support LDAC unless they added it since I last looked. Combined with Sony dropping aptx from their flagship wireless headphones it fucking sucks to have Sony shit on Windows. It feels so nice to be on Linux and just click on an audio device and get a list of all codecs it supports and pick your favorite.

Wired IEMs don't have this problem.

Just get an AptX USB adapter. Just as you would do with Windows or Linux.
