I already have seen so many companies say these tools are as helpful as they were told. People are starting to hire again in full, and people are getting tired of using this tools in any way then what they should productivity enhancements for skills they already have. The irony is I already feel like this was the dominate ethos and use case in Asia, and specifically China as productivity enhancements not digital gods
>>108959934Nope, my company is firing codetrans and increasing the usage of AI.VibeGODS now have unlimited Claude tokens.Ai won, and we’re going to vibecode our future
>>108959934all that slush money from crypto enticed a bunch of moon bois to try their hand at AI pump n dumps
>>108959934>dominate ethos and use case in Asia, and specifically ChinaHow much is it ethos and how much of it is the practical reality of being compute constrained?
We've all always hated AI. Its support was always entirely astroturfed. Nothing has changed. Nobody ever liked it.
>>108960136No china was always based and cared more about their citizens having work than making everyone poor and homeless with technology
>>108959934just wishful thinking. we've reached the point where AI programming and research will never go away. pretending like it will just die and everything will return to 2021 after only really being around for 3-4 years is pure delusion.

>>108959934>turning It was controversial and divided people into 2 camps from day one bro. You maybe feel like "tides are turning" because tokens are getting expensive and AI generated media is now associated with jeets so more people are leaving the "AI good" camp
>>108962011Camp balance IS a tide turn. OP is right, but it's been about a year since AI has largely been seen as bad by normalfags, and about 2 years since even management has started agreeing that AI doesn't make things more efficient. Right now the meta is finding that one mythical guy that maybe has found a magical AI dev workflow that doesn't slow everything down and break everything, so that he can teach everyone how to work with AI effectively. Nobody has found such a person yet and it won't be too long before the search is declared a failure and AI augmentation is abandoned for good, especially as models are getting WAY worse over time since the start of 2026 while costs are skyrocketing.
>>108959934> Does anyone else feel the tides turning against Automobiles?>I already have seen so many companies say these cars are as helpful as they were told. People are breeding horses again.
>>108959934I make and sell the shovel handles, you see.
Fizzbuzz potheads and MBAs briefly felt invincible, but being wholly dependent on the pricing whims of tech shylocks seems like a good way to paint yourself into a corner.
>bro are they going to finally get rid of AI when it's getting better and better?probably not
