are these monitors actually good?
I got an ASUS piece of shit OLED and the thing literally bricked in the first 3 days and I been looking for a new monitor.

I'm sold but can't drop that kind of cash for something twice the cost of my PC.

I wish more companies where as wholesome/iconic as Japans though. It's unironically worth basedjaking over "thing, japan" not just for weeaboo reasons.

Whats with Japanese people and large ears?

My Japanese waifu is not low iq enough to work as a blue collar, in fact the only collar she wears is mine because I can provide for her

Knew this was Eizo before I even looked at the video.

Yes and no.

They use binned IPS panels with proprietary backlighting for uniformity and custom ASICs to handle color correction/LUTs on the display itself. They have a zero dead pixel guarantee straight out of the box (no light or dark pixels). They're literally the only name in the game right now for solid color corrected displays with minimal (read: nearly zero) input latency. The closest competitor used to be the NEC SpectraView units but those got discontinued a while ago and they had insane Q/A issues with color uniformity and junk somehow landing up inside the screen itself.

The downside to all of this is that they're not great monitors for shit like gaming, usually due to slightly higher than normal response times. The CS2731 is around 10ms for example, the higher end ColorEdge units are north of 18ms (which is, frankly, fucking brutal for moving content). Colors and backlight uniformity are literally perfect though, so if you're doing any sort of creative work that requires color accuracy then they're amazing tools and well worth the price.

TLDR; they fill a specific niche and IDK if I'd recommend buying one just for the hell of it, especially if you don't need the features they offer. It's solid fucking hardware though and you can't go wrong if that's what you need, but I'd never buy one just for run of the mill PC stuff or gaming. I do 3D graphics and compositing myself so I have no problems paying the premium for the assurance that WYSIWYG, and while I do play games on mine they're definitely not designed for that sort of thing.

If this were in America those jobs would be taken by mexican women making $5 a day

I use one for gaming, cs2420, it's fine. Obviously not as good for this specific use case as a 120hz or higher monitor.. but you don't really need that in most games.

>aging process, where they are turned on for a period of time
oh so that's why they have to use women
>>
Just wish EIZO were a lot more affordable...
>>
>>108961815
Why not buy some shitty brand like Dell if you want affordable? You kinda get what you pay for.

imagine if a hair from cute Japanese fell into your monitor and when you got your monitor you opened it up and a hair from a cute Japanese girl touched you and ended up in your room
woooww

I'd coom right then and there ngl

That's the production quality control fail and your cute Japanese girl will be punished by hentai-tentacles for that.
