Windows LTSC is okay but things break down when you need to get more technical. For one, LTSC is so cut down it doesn't even have stuff like WinGet and I remember I had to fuck around with powershell to get it back, as a whole the terminal experience in Windows is TERRIBLY frustrating. If all you do is gaming and launching apps by all means use Windows LTSC

10 IoT LTSC already has dodgy wifi, bluetooth, fingerprint read etc driver support on many laptops. You are forced to install Windows 11 drivers and hope it will work.I had to manually install the driver and downgrade wifi settings to wifi 5 from wifi 7 on a 2025 Lenovo L14 that EXPLICITLY SUPPORTS 10 IoT LTSC edition specifically according to it's spec sheet, because in reality the only available driver is intended for Windows 11.
