For those in the know, what do you think of Thunderbird Pro?It's a email host, calendar sync, and end-to-end file sharing service that will be offered by mozilla likely some time this year. Personally I hate firefox so much, but I can see this being something worth paying for.Or do you think just go with proton for privacy? IDK!!

>>108962369given the suite theyre offering id like to know legit alternatives? Thunderbird is actually a pretty good piece of software, and their send solution seems really good, i am fine with magnet links, but other people seem to be a bit unable to use them
>>108962376And this is bad because...?
I used to like Mozilla but it feels like they've been trying to ragebait me for the past year.
>>108962396because kikezilla would absolutely deplatform me lmao
Mozilla removed their "We don't sell your data. Ever." commitment from their terms of use last year. They sided against Google's breakup in Google's monopoly trial. These sellouts are just a branch of Google. You might as well use Gmail.
>>108962396>>108962413while i agree with most of what they say, i dont get why a browser and mail client is so political, not to mention the C-suite is hell bent on sucking funding dryagain if anyone has alternatives to these products that are privacy focused and work (and dont just deplatform you like proton) id love to hear
>>108962376I won't click your shitty link behind a dozen of foreign-language captchas.

>>108962368>$6/month, annual plan only>That's the early bird priceJust under twice what I pay for Proton and it'll probably be over twice by the time the service actually comes out.
>>108967513that price includes the storage (60gb) I guess, but yeah proton looks to be cheaper. how is proton these days? if you forget your password there's no option to recover it right?
>>108962368How are they just doing this now? Wood have been a no brainer 15 years ago
