Thought it was a gimmick for 2 years, then someone showed me you can use it to OK popups or scroll a mail: in such situations it saves you a couple of hand movements, and I grew very used to it. My next work laptop had no touch screen, I missed it at first but you get used to not having it. Also the Dell Neo has no headphone jack but the MacBook Neo has.
