Whitepill me on privacy.
I feel that while individual tools might get better, support for pushing back is actually eroding because the government has learned how to sell its overreach better.
The Left is told it's to punish racists.
The Right simply needs to hear "it's to curtail degeneracy" and immediately gets to sucking.
Both are sold it as a way to fight child exploitation.
I just don't see a united pro privacy front emerging anymore.

privacy causes societal collapse
cooperation and coordination can only work if everyone is legible
the choice is climate collapse with billionaires in bunkers or full accountability for everyone, but all dualities are constructed so it's going to be neither and a mix of passive and active eugenics due to constraints of scale

You are looking in the wrong places. Obviously the mainstream won't push for the counter-culture

oh, also: digital privacy was always fake, and biology means the only secret you can have is something you forgot
