Honestly after using both Mint and CachyOS in different computers I can see the only difference between them is that cachyos updates every hour... It's basically molesting my SSD for no reason... I noticed that I don't mind having the latest stuff... It's barely any different and if there is a software that I really need up to date I can just use the flatpak/appimage version or build it myself. To those who stay on bleeding edge distros like cachyos. Take some time to update, like once a week and use btrfs so if something breaks you can easily go back to a previous snapshot.

It's the best of both worlds, you can have the latest packages if you want unlike in distros like Debian and you can update as often as you like, even once a year like Debian
