What's the point of rolling release distros again?
>>108971310They keep the distro rolling
>>108971310monke sees updoot, monke updoots, monke happi
Meanwhile, Ubuntu LTS pushes security updates daily. Thinking of going back to a rolling release distro because why not?
>>108971310Honestly after using both Mint and CachyOS in different computers I can see the only difference between them is that cachyos updates every hour... It's basically molesting my SSD for no reason... I noticed that I don't mind having the latest stuff... It's barely any different and if there is a software that I really need up to date I can just use the flatpak/appimage version or build it myself. To those who stay on bleeding edge distros like cachyos. Take some time to update, like once a week and use btrfs so if something breaks you can easily go back to a previous snapshot.
>>108971310It's the best of both worlds, you can have the latest packages if you want unlike in distros like Debian and you can update as often as you like, even once a year like Debian
anon be lazy to update but manages new ffmpeg and imagemagick or graphicsmagick
>>108972347I like update your mom once a week, shit is CASH. The money I pay her goes to buy your dino nuggies. You're welcome, Champaroo
>>108972326This, anyone who complains about debian or mint being too old is retarded. You don't need bleeding edge software unless your hardware is brand new or you have an actual use case for it.
>>108972377My mom isn't into trannies
>>108972560What are you on about, your mom IS a trannie
>>108972620No but your dad is
>>108972691Sorr I guess I should call her your other mom
