It's fine, but let's not pretend it's not as horrible as the rest of it. Had to upgrade from Fedora 42 to 44 today, spent like 3 hours fixing my configs with an LLM trying to nail down one problem after another: driver, xorg libs somehow disappeared, then i3 settings, the somehow a fucking mouse swapped left button with the right. Everything's getting worse every year.

And you are basically compatible with everything. Company supports Linux? There will be a .deb for Ubuntu 99% of the time. + Just look at how many distros are based on *buntu. I don't use *buntu, but I think I'd use it over Mint or PopOS, mainly because of KDE and GNOME, so you are not stuck with x11 and can use all the "new" features like VRR, HDR, Scaling etc.
