>ai doesn't actually improve productivity for anyone
>still requires mass layoffs to pay for the cash they burnt on ai investments
>>
a lot of the layoffs were just because they overhired during covid to exploit government funding, and used ai as a cover when they fired them again

basically AI helps people more quickly automate processes that were already in place. It rarely invents new processes. So you get a small percentage increase in efficiency of processes that already existed, but that increase isn't enough to result in massive net gains.

The people that say this shit are the people that dont make shit
if it doesnt improve your productivity its either that your job is too complex or too worthless, either extreme.

Any job that has significant productivity gains with AI is worthless

AI actually reduce my productivity because I spent a good portion of my day prompting for a Mastadon scraper to pull posts with positive and negative tags and a blacklist, then saving the images to a folder along with metadata so I can display them in a booru style format for gooning purposes.
