What is the best chromium browser? I want to switch from this piece of shit firefox since issues with extensions and I heard it doesn't even offer privacy anymore and that's why I got it in the first place.
>>108986169Just vibe code your own. Accept that Gecko lost (thanks Mitchell!) and base it on KHTML like every sane person.
>>108986169chromium is worse btw because they neutered ublock
>>108986169>issues with extensionswerks on my machine (tm)
>>108986270WHATYou mean ublock origin right? Then what the fuck is a sensible person supposed to use?>>108986284Certain twitch extensions have known issues that only work on chromium
I got tired of half the fucking internet barely or flat out not working on FF so I gave Helium a try and it's actually pretty good. Granted I've only been using it for a day but I'm impressed so far.
>>108986320This doesn't look too bad
>>108986169Vivaldi.
>>108986169Just stock ungoogled chromium or vivaldi if you want a fancy non default UI.
>>108986407^ this but srsly how long do the retards need to unfuck the address bar functionality? shits been perfected 15 years ago and they try to reinvent the wheel
>>108986403Looking it up on >reddit it seems that a lot of users have a disproportionate amount of bugs
>>108986474I'm fried, meant for>>108986407
>What is the best chromium browser?the one you use as little as possible. I only use Chrome when I absolutely can't get FF to work with a particular website.
>>108986301Yes, uBlock Origin doesn't work on chromium because of manifest V3, instead there is uBlock Lite which is like uBlock Origin but with less functionality.
>>108986474That sounds like hyperbole from a brave marketer.
>>108986505As long as 98% of ads are blocked and I can remove youtube shorts it should be "good enough". People bitch endlessly about "muh privacy" while having every device in their house connected to the internet including their fucking oven with an phone in their pocket that can read their mind.
>>108986301>Then what the fuck is a sensible person supposed to use?you're supposed to consume the ads and be happy about it
>>108986169What >>108986407 said, Vivaldi is super comfy, especially if you're an oldfag that remembers Opera Presto fondly.
Vivaldi 8 is the fastest browser hands down. Consistently get 50+ on Speedometer 3.1 even with extensions. This is Apple tier fast and they are already ahead PC.
>>108986320been using it for 3 days and it's been bretti gud too
